- KWKelly WMay 9, 20261.0I came in this morning for coffee and breakfast tacos expecting a normal customer experience. The coffee was good, but the service from Shantel in the Bonfire kitchen was honestly one of the worst customer interactions I’ve had in a long time. From the beginning she was rude, cold, and acted like my order was some massive inconvenience. When she asked whether I wanted flour or corn tortillas, I simply asked for a recommendation. Her response was, “I don’t give suggestions,” with an attitude that made it clear she didn’t want to deal with customers at all. It only got worse from there. When my food was ready, she basically threw it across the counter at me, then gave me a sarcastic, condescending “thanks” afterward. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand everyone has bad days, but customers are not punching bags for employee frustration. If someone hates dealing with people that much, they probably shouldn’t be working in customer service. I brought my money into your business this morning and left feeling like I was unwelcome for doing so. That’s not how you keep customers coming back.
