  Pretty disappointing for a convenience store located literally across from a hotel. I walked over around dinner time specifically to get something hot to eat, only to find out the kitchen had already stopped making food for the day. The employee told me the Maverik at the next freeway exit still had its kitchen open. At that point, if I have to get back in my vehicle and drive to another exit, I might as well just go to an actual restaurant. Having a store directly across from a hotel but shutting down your hot-food operation at 3 PM makes absolutely no sense from a customer’s perspective. The location couldn’t be more convenient, but the food service hours make that convenience pretty useless at dinner time.

  I get that people have bad days but I greeted the cashier “Toasty” today with friendliness and curiosity and he was a condescending jerk with the Gen-z stare, and made it abundantly clear he wished for me to be slingshot into the core of the sun. I’m getting tired of encountering rude customer service people, especially when I am just trying to get through the day myself. A little kindness and cheerfulness goes a long way. Dang, even just a “thanks for coming?” I hope this isn’t a trend, and that maybe he was just going through it, but the treatment was outrageous enough that I came home to write a review and I rarely do that.

  Open 24 hours?! Apparently not. We stopped there and walked inside. The woman working said they were closed. I gave this review 2 stars only because she at least let me use the restroom.
