I flew in from Oregon, 10 days ago to work in SLC, for 2-3 weeks. Ive visited easily 50+ Maverick locations in my time hear. Ya I crush miles, and burn that petrol!! Please hear me out. This is for whoever pays these Maverick employees! Give ALL employees at this location pay raises, or bonuses! Something!!
Maverick I see all these new locations popping up like Starbucks on every corner. I know thst you have enough money to treat your employees accordingly! You ask them to do more than ever hired for..they never complain. They just handle it!!
Shar and the whole team at this location are beyond Amazing!! Super busy location, super challenging for them. But this team crushes it out, NONSTOP! Much love to everyone here! Keep it up from your favorite Oregon guy, Riley

Funny story every where me and my husband has moved to we always tend to live in near a maverick, exept right now we live next to 7/11 I know it's sad. But we loved this maverick went to it everyday for 6 years till we moved. Verry good store.
I love this Maverick! Best one around!!! Really love the current manager Shar and her fabulous staff! They are friendly, engaging, remember you, and the place is clean and well stocked. Also, when I broke both legs a few years ago and then had a stomach surgery shortly after, and then hurt my leg again.... These wonderful people. They are the people that show up, see when you're missing, come and help you get your drink cause you can't carry with crutches. I'm so grateful for the fact that they just don't work there, they care about their people, and truly be their friends. I've been in this neighborhood for almost 17 years. I didn't even mention how sweet they are to my little one! Can be a bit of a challenge and can often be loud. But they truly love her, and they enjoy her little stories and her pure joy and happiness to see them. I can't thank them enough for just the kindness to her. 🩷 I've seen a LOT of staff and managers at this store. By far, Shar has been one of the best people to come to this store. From observation she builds a great team and does a lot of work to help her team feel and be included, and develop better skills and grow with a career. It's just amazing to see. I'm glad you brought her to our little 5 points. Please don't transfer her to another store. Lol my favorite of her team are (in no particular order) Marianne, Sarah, Shan, Mackenzie, and Mack. Thanks for always being so kind to me, and my little one!!
There are 2 girls there working day shift they do not know what they are doing and need help prolly alot. They charged my card for 1 transaction. I had to move a few dollars over to complete transaction. The girl then chard me a 2nd time for the full amount not the remaining amount, so to much surprise it didn't go through again. When explaining she already charged me a portion and only needed to finish charging the rest and not recharge a 2nd time. They said they canceled the purchases. THEY LIED and ended up over charging my card for a purchase I didn't even get! They and Maverick have stolen my money. Still trying to get it back. Char and Sarah need new jobs! I don't think customer service suits them well.
