  I, never really do reviews, but today I, was helped by an incredible, maintenance tech. Shout out to Kevin, for going above and beyond and doing what didn’t have to be done. Never have a I, had customer service so phenomenal. Thank you again and I, will be coming back because of that interaction!

  I was in town for my son's basketball tournament on a Saturday. My truck started acting funny and when Autozone ran the codes on the check engine light I was told I needed two new ignition coils and spark plugs. I had 3 hours between games and if I didn't get it done it looked like I might be stuck in town till Monday. Autozone gave me 2 shops, the 1st one told me they could start on it in an hour and a half and it would take 2 1/2 hours to do. Then I went to Grease Monkey and talked to the manager Mike who was booked out for a bit but told me it would only take 1/2 hour. Things were looking bleak when Mike said "Look, I'll show you how, its no big deal". I'm not a car guy and also not handy so I didn't think I could do it, but he walked me through it slow, gave me a couple tips and told me exactly which 3 tools to buy. I went back to Autozone, bought the tools, got a little help from youtube and was good to go in an hour. Mike saved my weekend and didn't try to rip me off like the 1st shop. An absolute stud of a manager. Thanks Mike!

  Kevin and Mike killed it today. They had excellent service that was quick and efficient while being kind. They even opened all the doors for me! I would highly recommend grease monkey.

  This was my first and last time at the American Fork Grease Monkey. I came in for a routine oil change and was immediately spoken to in a condescending, dismissive way that felt patronizing rather than informative. The interaction felt like I was being talked down to instead of being treated as a customer making decisions about my own vehicle. I was pressured into additional services I did not request, and the overall experience felt more like upselling than honest communication. I actually like Grease Monkey as a company and have used other locations before without issue, which is why this experience stood out so much. I’m sharing this because no one should feel talked down to or pressured during a basic service.
