I really wanted to score these guys Higher. Customer service at the front desk was good they were attentive and genuine in their interactions. I came in for an oil and filter change in my F350 since Im going to be hauling my fifth wheel to Nevada over 1300 miles. As always I check the oil levels once I got home just to make sure it doesnt need a quart due to the filter capacity. I found It to be Bone Dry. Nothing on the dipstick at all. I immediatly eased back to auto zone and bought a gallon to have just in case for fitire needs. I added a Quart and still nothing so I added another with the same result and continued this process until I had used the Whole Gallon. My 6.7 L holds 13 Quarts and it was left 4 Quarts Low. So they only put 9 Qts in Mine. It was only about 3/4 into the range on my dipstick so It could have just been 8 quarts used. Thank God I always check my truck after an oil change or I may have had some catastrophic issues on the 1300 miles trip towing a 23K lb three axle Fifthwheel.

After a very stressful day driving from Huntsville to Webster then back and making it to Willis, grabbing a bite to eat at a drive thru and while sitting there my tire pressure goes from 65 down to 50 then to 40. Hopped on Google and they were the only place still open. I still needed to get back to Huntsville. The employees at this location truly went above and beyond to help me when I pulled in at 7pm with a flat tire. The valve stem gave out on my truck and the place that did my rotate and balance did not give me my wheel key lock back so I agreed for the employees to do whatever they had to do to get the lug off. We tried putting air in the tire to just try and get home but the air was leaking faster than it was filling. They had me back on the road in under an hour. I want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to the stores Asst Manager, I can’t remember his name. He got on the phone and helped come up with a solution. All the employees we amazing and took a stressful situation , found a solution and helped someone out. They easily could have said they couldn’t help me but they didn’t and that says a lot!

My experience here was a rollercoaster. I won't go into to much detail, but Matt, the shop owner? Stand up guy. Super nice, clearly intelligent and more than willing to try and help people out in a pinch. Ex-Army Ranger too. And Logan was very knowledgeable as well, and a good kid. The rest of the shop was clearly knowledgeable as well. They were pretty slammed when we got there and kept getting slammed after. 2 tire changes, a rotation, and 2 brake pad replacements took about 2 hours, and again, Matt was more than willing to work with us on price. You get your money's worth when you come here and if/when I need more tire or brake work, I'll definitely come here.

My experience at the Mavis Tires & Brakes location in Willis today was horrible. I called ahead and received a tire quote that was better than Discount Tire’s, so I scheduled an appointment and drove 45 minutes to the store. Before I arrived, two different employees called asking what they could do to earn my business. I told them, “I’m already on my way there to buy new tires!” Once I arrived, however, they refused to honor the quoted price. The manager claimed the quote was below their cost and said I had probably spoken with someone in a “third-world country” when I called their Willis number. That is not the customer’s fault. If Mavis uses an outside call center to provide quotes and schedule appointments, the company should stand behind the prices its representatives give customers. The two employees who initially helped me were courteous, but the manager was condescending, unprofessional, and unwilling to make the situation right. The entire operation seemed disorganized and haphazard. In my 59-plus years, this was one of the worst customer-service experiences I have encountered. I left and took my business across the street to Discount Tire, where I purchased my new tires. That is where I should have gone in the first place. Mavis is new to the area, and I hope they quickly learn to honor their quotes and treat customers with respect. The manager at this location should seriously reconsider how he handles customers—and whether customer service is the right career for him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely AMAZING Customer Service! I can’t say enough good things about Matt, the manager at this location! I came in after being quoted a different price over the phone, and unfortunately, the price I was given when I arrived was higher than I could afford. I was ready to walk out because I genuinely needed new tires but was on a very tight budget. Right before I left, Matt came out and personally stepped in to help. He listened to my situation, worked with me, and somehow managed to get me taken care of within my price range. That alone meant so much to me. What really stood out was how honest and transparent Matt was. He noticed that I also had a bent rim, showed it to me, explained the issue, and even told me that if I brought in another rim, his team would put it on for me at no additional charge. He could have easily just let me pay for everything, but instead, he genuinely looked out for me and helped me save money. You don’t come across customer service like this every day. Matt didn’t just treat me like another customer he treated me like a person who needed help. He went above and beyond, and I’m incredibly grateful. Matt, thank you for being honest, compassionate, and willing to work with me. You saved me a lot of money and made a stressful situation so much easier. Management should absolutely recognize what an asset you are to this location! 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend this location because of people like Matt!
