  I called AutoZone on the phone and John responded. How can I help you. I said I need a 10 point Wheel lug socket for a 2015 Volkswagen beetle base model. He responded “I don’t see that” I asked him, can you ask somebody else to take a look? He said nothing and hung up on me. It seems his feelings were hurt or he has too much pride to ask somebody to take a look So I called back and Marty answered the phone and Marty said they did have it. I drove to the store, walked in and told a gentleman I called about a Volkswagen wheel lug socket, he said we have it right over here It was an extension rather than the wheel lug socket. I said so, then you don’t have it, and John, who turns out to be the manager, replied “no” I told him I had called a little while ago, and I told the Individual on the phone to ask somebody else to take a look to be sure. Rather than do that, they hung up on me. I looked at John, the manager and then said That being the case, what do you say? I received a blank stare. I said again, what do you say? Crickets I said look I’m a 30 year retired veteran from the United States Army. I’m not looking for discounts or anything. I’m just looking for respect or professionalism. You as the manager should be saying “I’m sorry that somebody in my store hung up on you. They shouldn’t have done that.” John, the manager looked at me and didn’t respond. Another associate was standing nearby and I guess John was too proud to apologize for the lack of professionalism coming from him and or somebody else in his store with the name John. It’s no wonder people tell me to go to O’Reillys instead ! John get with your district manager and get some residual training to help you improve the customer service in your store.

  The staff refused to help me with my car. Blatantly lied and said the device does not check codes without the check engine light being on which is false, scanners can store diagnostic codes without the check engine light on the vehicle and I’ve done it multiple times at other AutoZone locations so he just wanted to get out of working. Lazy staff

  I needed a new radiator for my 2011 Toyota 4Runner. AutoZone Webster had it and held it for me. When I got there, Mari took great care of me. She sold me coolant at a competitor's pricing, made sure I knew about the warranty on the new radiator, and carried the radiator out to my loaner car for me. So nice to see that good customer service still exists. CLR

  Best customer service. I went in to get a new battery that had warranty and the process was smooth. He helped out every step of the way.
