- DDdwy dgJun 17, 20261.0On 6/17/2026 at around 9am I pulled into this station to gas pump #12, the main digital roadsigns said regular $3.23 a gallon, and the #12 pump also said regular $3.23 a gallon, but while I was inside paying for gas, a ton thumb employee lady went to my pump and jacked the price up to $3.39 a gallon for regular, when I got back outside I asked her about it and she just said I just changed the prices, with no offer to make it right to me, since she changed the price in the middle of my transaction, I went ahead and pumped the then higher priced gas, but I know that's not right, and it's the principle, just to let people know, that's a very poor way for tom thumb to allow an employee to treat a customer, she could have waited til after me to change the price, I've seen HEB and Murphy's handle price increases in a much better coordinated way,

It took over half an hour at the butcher to get them to give us the price on the ad and cut the steak. When I got home and grilled one, it tasted more like a choice steak. Not much flavor, no marbling. If Costco prime is a 9/10, this would be a 6/10. Oh well, I guess you can't complain for $9/pound.
