The team at Vernon Auto was great! Rodney and Derek were very helpful from the beginning to end and then arranged for a delivery of my vehicle to me, which was over 3 hours away that evening. We highly recommend this dealership! Thanks again! Chad and Kori Marshall

My recent experience with Vernon Auto group was purchasing my 2026 F250 lariat tremor . This by far has been one of my easiest purchase experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been a contractor for over 45 years and from the beginning to the end, they made everything absolutely great. I look forward to doing business with Vernon Auto group in the future. Thank you for all you did Randy Baker D.R.B. Electric, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I would like to tell you about my recent experience with Vernon Auto. I had a brand new Ford Ranger that had a charging issue. After several attempts to fix I finally went to Chris Dunson to discuss it. I can not tell you how wonderful he has been to me. He immediately took care of the problem and did everything in his power to make me happy. I, for one, will never buy another car except at Vernon Auto. I hope if you have any problem with your vehicle you will reach out to Chris and see how very helpful he is. TEN STARS for sure!!

Oooh, where to start. Firstly, I brought my car to this dealership last year to have my alternator fixed on 09/24/25. No problems until last MONTH. Nine months later on the weekend of May 23rd, my car started showing a charging system fault message. On May 28th, I called and explained to Eli that my car was throwing the same code as last year when the alternator was going out and I had O'Reilly's test it and it was showing that the alternator was going out again. We set up a time for them to come and pick up the car, great! On June 2nd, they come for my car. By May 5th, I hadn't heard anything and stopped to check on it while I was in town. I was told by Eli that they were having to run all these diagnostic tests because they can't find a reason why it was throwing the charging system fault message. I explained that I told them on the phone that it was the alternator going out again. He says okay, I'll let them know to check the alternator. Great. On June 9th, I stop to see about my car. I was told that the alternator did need to be replaced. They handed me a $1200 bill. I explained that it was still under warranty and they should be fixing it under the warranty. I escorted to Mr Mark Dunson's office where he explained that yes, it's covered under warranty by years but not mileage and that there was a 20,000 mileage policy that I had exceeded (I drove my car for work as a home health nurse) and that I needed to pay for the alternator because of this policy. I explained that I'm still paying sunbit for the last one and needed to talk to someone regarding the bill. I got home, looked up Ford's warranty policy which states that all genuine Ford or Motorcraft parts have a 2yr/unlimited mileage on all parts. I call on June 11th and talked to Gabby at 428pm. I asked if my alternator was a remanufactored part or a brand new one. She said it was new. I ask if it's new then why am I being told that I owe them $1200 for a new one when Ford's warranty states its covered by a 2yr/unlimited mileage policy. She says she doesn't want to tell me the wrong thing and that Mr Mark Dunson was off that day and she would tell him I called and give him a heads up as to why I called. I said thank you. Called back about 20mins later and Mr Mark Dunson answered the phone (I thought he was off?) I explain that I want the bill from last year and the warranty policy. He emails it to me at 456pm. I go to them on June 12th around 120/130pm. I ask Mr Mark Dunson to show my the 20,000 mileage policy. I waited with him as he checked and couldn't find this 20,000 mileage policy. I watched him then fill out the prior authorization and was told he needed a picture of the part, the vin number, and mileage (I believe, honestly can't remember that last part). He said he'd get back with me. I called on June 17th and talked to Eli so said that he didn't know anything because he wad gone in vacation. (He told me this on June 5th) and that he'd have Mr Mark Dunson call me. By June 22nd, I hadn't heard anything can called at 1043am. Talked with Gabby again and asked why it was taking 3 weeks to fix my alternator and was told that everything was being held up by Ford warranty and she didn't have any information. I asked if I needed to get a lawyer because it's been three weeks I've without my primary vehicle. Around 255pm, I received a call from Mr Mark Dunson that they heard from Ford and the part would be ordered and covered under warranty. It's now June 29th, I still don't have my car or heard about when or even if my car will be fixed. They've had it one MONTH. I use my car as my work car. This is absolutely horrendous and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone EVER. I was told not to trust them because of things like this. Guess my lesson is learned.
