- RWRitt WestSep 26, 20261.0Went pump one scan my car skip button doesn’t work to bypass the BS had to cancel transaction. Switch to pump to scan my car and the diesel button was missing had to cancel the transaction. Went to a different pump and my card was declined because the first two times didn’t work. Put an out of order on the things would you. Now I will have to spend 20 minutes on the phone with my bank getting my credit card usable again.

- GPGeoffrey Miller, PhDSep 7, 20261.007Sep26: Arrived at Xpress Fuel Travel Center around 6pm to a diesel pump #2 that didn’t work, due to the little touch button not functioning. So, shifted to the next one over to pump #4, in which the nightmare began. I completed filling the tank, of my 2023 Winnebago Revel, pulled the fill nozzle out in which both the spring and rubber spring holder went right down into the tank. After this I went into the store to talk with the manager, who informed that I needed to call corporate. In which I informed of the obvious maintenance negligence which created the situation, and that the manager needed to get her supervisor and corporate on the phone, raising my voice in frustration, due to the lack of accountability. The manager chose to call the local Sheriffs Department, as I was choosing to call 911 to report the situation. As I walked out, I met with the professional Sheriff deputies, who helped defuse the situation. Providing further management contact and store number information, informing me that this will most likely be a small claims matter. After this, one of the other staff members came out to get my information. Once departed, I called several mobile mechanics being informed that I should be able to make it back to GA for appointments starting on 11Sep26 through 25Sep26, but that the tank will need to be pulled, emptied, debris removal, then reinstalled, in which I hope can be done at the Mercedes-Benz in Columbus, GA on 24Sep26. More updates to follow, but, current estimates for the tank to be pulled, cleared out, replaced, and then fuel level gauge reprogramming at a third-party vendor, is estimated to be at least $3000, on top of $175 at the pump.
