  My wife and me recently helped my daughter in looking for an affordable used car. We went to The Garage Auto Sale because my wife saw a car she thought might be a good car. When we got there the owner (Alex) came to help us. My wife asked to see the car she had seen online. Alex said it was currently at he’s mechanic’s shop for a brake problem but showed us a car he said was the best one he had on the lot. He said he got it for a very good price and only asking 6,000.00. We told him our limit was 5,000 because my daughter didn’t have the 6,000 and he said he would go down to 5,500; so we thought we would help her out because she was without a car and on a low budget. So we bought the car. It only took two weeks and the car overheated. The car’s coolant tank was empty. When we bought the car I checked it and it was full. We bought coolant and filled the tank. Two weeks later and it was empty again. We took it to our mechanic who said it needed a new water pump and new seals though out the water system of the car’s engine. He estimated the job would cost 1,200. I called Alex and told him the car’s problem and he should take responsibility. He had me take the car to his mechanic and said he would fix it. A few days later, it was ready. My daughter used the car and 2 weeks later; the car overheated and the coolant tank was empty. I called Alex again to let him know the car was still broken. He told me he would get with his mechanic and get back to me. He never called back. We had our mechanic make the repairs and about a month later, the car overheated and the coolant was empty again. When I called my mechanic; he said that meant the car’s engine was no good and needed to be replaced. I called Alex again but he wouldn’t answer or return my messages. Now we have a car that will cost way too much to fix and my daughter is getting rides as best as she can. I have to say that Alex I’m sure has some good cars for sale but be very careful because you could land up in the same situation as my daughter and us trying to figure out how to get her another car.
