    I had to retract my previous positive feedback and instead express a negative review. It is not an indication that Miguel is performing poorly; rather, the issue lies in the prolonged wait to acquire a vehicle. Although I am aware that the Emerald aisle is a work in progress, my recent experience with the Bronco was unsatisfactory due to the vehicle being dirty and only partially filled with fuel. Furthermore, it appeared that many vehicles were not adequately cleaned, likely due to time constraints. I sincerely hope that the overall quality has not improved, as I plan to visit frequently. Additionally, there is an urgent need to expedite the vehicle checkout process. Yesterday, a line of approximately nine individuals formed, and the process was inefficient and slow.

    I rented a car for a day from here. Upon arrival the beautiful and kind Ms. miracle greeted us and quickly got us a car. However when we sat in the car it was slightly dirty with a weird smell. We went back to ask for a replacement but they only had one other van available which we thought would be way too big for us. Ms. Miracle did her BEST to help us with the smell and apologize for the inconvenience and offered to provide us with an incentive. She was very kind and genuine and I do appreciate her diligence. After driving on the highway however, the car began to shake anytime I drove over 65 mph. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t return the car back to Tyler because I had to drop it off at Dallas for my flight, otherwise I would have gone to see if there was another car available the next day. Although I was a bit concerned, we made it safely to Dallas love field where they took care of everything. Again, thank you for all of your help miracles. I do appreciate you. Hopefully in the future Tyler airport will provide more vehicles and ensure they are clean and reliable. Nonetheless I appreciate having a vehicle.

    Horrible!!! Booked a Large SUV (7 seater) and called to make sure they had it. Stayed on hold and was told they had me covered. Drove up there and the lady said, "We don't have anything. Everything that is out there is for people getting off flights".

    This is a review of the Tyler Airport location, not of National itself (which I always enjoy renting with). I’ve never had such a bad customer service experience. I reserved a pick up time for 5:00 PM on Sunday 3/22/26, and showed up at 4:45PM so I could grab my rental and get to an important engagement. It wasn’t until 5:45PM that someone finally showed up to give me the keys, which obviously made me late; and the worker never explained or offered anything close to an apology. I returned the car on Tuesday 3/24/26, no one was at the desk again, so I dropped it in their lock box and left, assuming I’d get my email receipt as usual. Fast forward to Friday and I’d not seen it at all, so I tried calling the corporate line 3 separate times; they said they were sending messages to the manager to get me my receipt, but nothing happened after each time. On Saturday the 28th, I decided to show up since they don’t care about corporate messages and it had been almost 5 days since I returned the car. Again, no one was manning the desk. The Enterprise worker finally was able to help me. She let me know that the worker that had handed me the keys on Sunday had never actually assigned the car to my rental agreement, and she couldn’t close out the original rental. 30 minutes of paperwork later and she was finally able to get me my receipt that I needed for my job, and still no one ever made an appearance at the national desk (1 hr after their posted opening time). I’ll never rent from this National location ever again, hope this serves as a “buyer beware” for the next person thinking of renting from them.
