  My recent rental experience with Enterprise in Tyler, Texas was very disappointing. The check-in process went smoothly, and there was no wait, which I appreciated. However, I had reserved a full-size car and was expecting a Nissan Altima or a similar vehicle. Instead, I was assigned a Mitsubishi Outlander. As someone who is not particularly knowledgeable about vehicle models, I was unaware that this was a small SUV until I saw it. Unfortunately, it proved to be inadequate for my needs, as it was too small to comfortably accommodate four passengers and four pieces of luggage. In addition, the vehicle’s condition was unacceptable. The seats were stained, had an unpleasant odor, and were covered with pet hair. This gave the impression that the vehicle had not been properly cleaned or prepared prior to rental. I also experienced ongoing issues with the rear hatch. Although it appeared to be closed and latched, the dashboard warning light frequently indicated that the hatch was still ajar. To clear the warning, the hatch had to be slammed unusually hard, which was both inconvenient and concerning. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with this rental experience. My frustration was compounded when I contacted customer service and was advised that I would be contacted regarding an appropriate adjustment to the rental charges. To date, I have not received any meaningful follow-up or resolution.

  Was called 1 hour before my scheduled pickup time and enterprise told me they didn't have a car for me. 1 hour before...Come on man now I'm scrambling to find something after have paid for the reservation and everything. Terrible business and will never use again!

  Worst rental company ever!!!! I made a reservation months ago to pick up a SUV at 12 noon and when I showed up to pick the car up they were closed. Every representative I spoke with could do a darn thing to help and could only give a lame I'm sorry or you can rent a car from the air port for double the price of my current reservation. I wont ever rent from them or refer them to anyone. This is horrible service and customer support.

  I would give them a five if they hadn't lost all my property and if the employees at the Beaumont location and the Tyler Pounds field airport location would return my calls or help me find my property. But instead they hang up in my face and refuse to talk to me. The 800 number has been very helpful but they can't get any assistance from those two locations either. So my score will remain at 2:00 and that's only because the car was nice or it'd be a one. They've lost all my property and no one seems to know where it is.
