  I always have my truck inspected at this location. Now, Grease Monkey took it over. The technician Sean Hillery was super friendly, & had credible customer service with attention to detail. The whole experience only took about 15 minutes, I will definitely go back again. Thanks again, Grease Monkey in The Colony!!

  My vehicle was damaged during an oil change. After I reported the damage, the manager informed me they would be replacing the damaged part. When returning to pick up vehicle the damaged part had not been replaced. Instead a bandaid fix had been performed. When I asked why the part had not been replaced I was told the manager that approved the repair doesn't have the ability to approve such a repair because of the $300 cost and that I would have to take it up with corporate. I was told my information was submitted to corporate and I should be receiving a call. That's was 3 days ago. Still waiting on a call.

  The Service Providor was so patient. He explained in simple terms what he was doing & why it was necessary. I had my car inspected & replaced anti - Freeze.

  I highly recommend getting oil change at Grease Monkey. The technician, Dalton was extremely nice and professional. He checked my car thoroughly and recommended the items which my car needs attention to. Overall, the service was great and I would come back for my next oil change.

  I want to start off by saying That I am never the one to go and write a review but this needs to be addressed. The only thing saving this review from being 1 star is Daniel. I have visited the McKinney shop multiple times for work and daniel has always gone above and beyond to help me. He listens to what is going on and then levels with me, simplifies things to a point I can understand what is really going on and know what I am paying for before the work gets done, doesn’t try to upsell me and push me to pay for things without actually explaining it, he is knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and professional. As a woman and single mom this is very important to me. When it comes to work being done on my car it is so hard to find a safe shop where I don’t feel like I am being ripped off. I was told Daniel he had moved to the colony shop and I was willing to drive from my home in Allen for him to do the work! Him and others I have met show the true integrity of this company. Now to the disappointing part of this review. At the colony shop there was a man, I later found out this was the manager Dalton. He was very unprofessional (which is the reason I asked to speak to the manager and found out it was actually him.) He spoke extremely disrespectfully to all the other employees there, was not put together (multiple buttons undone/missing on very wrinkled shirt, an untied shoe, duck tail back of his shirt untucked, etc…) After me repeatedly telling him I was on a very limited budget he kept pushing and pushing for me to get additional services on my car while I was there. He would never really explain what the different services were, or if it would be okay to wait a few days and when he did say anything it was a few mumbled words. He just kept telling me things that “had to be done” while there. Including a coolant flush and new air filter, he told me I was destroying my car if I didn’t pay to have it done there that day. Keep in mind, I just had a coolant flush and engine air filter done by my dealership less than a week ago. This is not the Grease Monkey I know and have come to love! I do not mean this review as a target towards this company, I have only had positive experiences with them until this, that’s why I was so caught off guard. I really hope this reaches the right people that can get this shop back to the place I go for all my work. It was so sad to see this.
