  I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an interaction I recently experienced at an AutoZone. On Friday, I had visited the store and was assisted by an employee regarding brake pads. When I returned later to process a return, I approached the counter and waited for assistance. During that time, a different employee stood against the counter with his arms folded and did not greet me, acknowledge my presence, or offer any assistance. I felt ignored and unwelcome as several moments passed without anyone helping me. The employee who had assisted me earlier eventually came from the back of the store and appeared confused as to why I was still standing at the counter waiting. I then asked who I needed to speak with for assistance, and he proceeded to help me with my return. However, during this interaction, the other employee made an inappropriate comment, stating, "You must think you have a red carpet in here." I found this remark disrespectful and unprofessional, especially considering I had simply been waiting for assistance after being ignored. I responded that everyone had been staring at me without offering help, which was the reason for my frustration. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. Being ignored and then mocked for expecting basic customer service was disappointing and unacceptable. I am bringing this matter to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed so that future customers do not have a similar experience.
