This was my first charge away from home in my new EV. I expected to have to figure a few things out but I didn't expect the mess I encountered. I plugged in my car, gave it my credit card, got charged the $3 connection fee and started charging. Seemed like it was going to be easy. 15 seconds later it quit charging and said there was a problem and I had to unplug, count to 10 and plug back in. Then it wanted me to start over, pay another $3 and try again. I called the number on the station and talked with a friendly, polite and completely unhelpful person who said this was the normal way things operated. When I asked her to confirm that they were charging me $3 to test out their hardware for them she offered to take my information and kick my problem up to the next level of assistance where I could expect to hear from them by email maybe as soon as tomorrow. She also suggested I try a different charger so I moved my car to a charger where someone had just left after charging. This one would not read my credit card so I called the friendly and polite help line again and this time they were helpful and they took my credit card info over the phone and started the charge from their end. Finally, success! I still have no idea what the whole process will cost but at least I learned that I can't rely on on-the-road chargers. :-(

I’ve been here 4 times and haven’t had an issue. Fyi - Today, the super charger on Mallory is unavailable and Lea was a bit finicky but still able to get a charge. There’s almost always one available during the week during the day. I’ve only seen them all full once.

Had an error during charging and had to restart once. Not great when they charge session fee... Second charging session worked fine.

EV go will without your permission charge your card and not remove the hold for over a week. They often overcharge you, especially if you are a Uber driver and will not refund your money. Do not use. There are plenty of other cheaper options be worse and it’s not close
