Camping World will say anything to get you to come in and apply for a loan. Their service providers make iron-clad promises that you will walk out with an RV if you bring in X amount of cash. Three different locations gave me the run around when I walked in with thousands. You are better off going on Craigslist, RV Trader, Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up because these people do not keep their promises to get you into something you intend to live on year round. I bought my rv used as a fixer up elsewhere and far, far cheaper. Never buy new and never do business with Camping World. $12-14k for a 16-20 foot rv is outrageous and then they will still deny a loan with 25 percent down upfront.

During our initial walkthrough, several issues were identified and we were assured they would be addressed before pickup. However, when we arrived, none of those issues had been resolved. As a result, we had to wait nearly three hours while the service department completed repairs that should have already been finished.
While we are happy with our purchase, the lack of preparation and poor communication during the pickup process made what should have been an exciting day unnecessarily frustrating. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I flew from Wichita Kansas to pick up a 2022 class B camper. The salesman, who's name was Chris described it to me as like new, new tires very slick camper. He was suppose to be there to check me out in it. When I arrived Chris was no where around and no body knew I was coming. Was told I would been checked out on every aspect of the camper when I arrived, which I was NOT. A kind older man did his best to check me out in it but knew very little about the workings of it.. Our test drive was only
1 1/2 mile. I wanted to fill up the fuel tank and was told we could not take it that far from the dealership. After checking it out more I found the house battery was bad, they had to scramble and find somewhere that could replace it, that took 3 hours. The front driver seat had plastic that broke, (part $57). The door on the shore power receptacle was broke and they were going to send me one. five month later still no door. I finally bought one on eBay ($100). On the way home the van did not track right had to have the tire realigned, ( $109)
Discovered on the way home the fuel gage did not work properly,(new fuel pump fixed that problem ($1800). But for Mercedes to fix the pump. I had to have the gray and black water tanks removed, then replaced again after the fuel pump was fixed ($2000). I looked for the valve to shut off the propane tank for safety and could not shut it off, the solenoid was stuck and had to be replaced ($771 ) At last we were ready to go camping. I brought it home and said let's try out the elect. awning which of course did not work. Checked the fuse box, the awning fuse was missing no problem I replaced the fuse, pressed the button which then the awning fell uncontrollably open it would not roll back up. Guess that's why the fuse was missing. Finally got it back where I could safely drive it to the RV repair shop again.
The awning will fixed or replaced, $????????
Long Story Short, it was not the Van that Camper World said it was....Don't buy anything from CAMPING WORLD IN SPRING, TEXAS.

I liked the store and my sales guy, even got a good deal… besides all that, worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. Service department has zero follow up, parts take months to come in, tech and installers did the worst work fixing simple things in my camper. I had to make trips to the store 2 hour round trip 3 times and still they hadn’t fixed the issue and the last time they ran Sheetrock screws through the top of my counters… yes I had black screw heads visible everywhere. They promised to fix it only to send mobile techs to my house with the wrong part and I can almost never get in touch with service and they 9/10 don’t call back. If I knew this would be the aftercare I got I’d have purchased elsewhere and yes I got extended warranty. Waste of my time. If I could give negative stars I would. I hate to l ave reviews like this but I am fed up and I’ve been nothing but nice. Btw this was pics of the bed frame that has been unlevel since I purchased the camper and it has caused me to sleep head lower than feet. This has been unresolved since 12/1/2026 and still isn’t fixed.
