  Ernest and Johnathan were very polite and straight to the matter. I was only going for oil change but also got a transmission oil change.They weren't pushy but explain why I need a transmission oil change and I got it .They got done in a kindly matter.

  I was heading home when I stopped at the Valvoline right outside my mom’s neighborhood on 8/9. All of the folks working that day were working hard and getting it done. Brian was the employee I spent the most time with and he was excellent. His knowledge and skills were evident while we talked. He changed my filters out, taught me a little somethin’ about my car, and helped me reset my oil change message in my car. I’d never had anyone show me how to do that. All in, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This is my second visit to this Valvoline. I’ll definitely be going back.

  I have always trusted Valvoline with my vehicle and have always had my oil changes done there because I believed my car was in good hands. Unfortunately, after my most recent oil change, my Infiniti suffered catastrophic engine failure. While driving home from a nearby McDonald’s, the low oil warning suddenly came on. I immediately stopped driving because I knew continuing to drive with low oil could destroy the engine. I pushed my car home instead of driving it and had it towed to Grubbs Infiniti. I also have Ring camera footage showing that I never continued driving the vehicle after the warning appeared. According to Grubbs Infiniti, the engine and turbos failed due to oil starvation, and they informed me that the drain plug had been left loose after the oil change. I have the dealership’s diagnosis, towing records, and Ring camera footage documenting what happened. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have the service paperwork from Valvoline showing that they documented the drain plug as having been checked during the oil change. Despite that documentation, the dealership told me the drain plug was loose and that the engine failed from oil starvation. That discrepancy is extremely concerning. As a loyal customer who has always trusted Valvoline to service my vehicle, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. I expect Valvoline to conduct a thorough investigation and, if their investigation confirms that their workmanship caused this failure, to take responsibility and pay for all of the damages. Customers deserve to have confidence that a routine oil change will be performed correctly.
