  I had my oil changed here about 2 months ago. When I pulled in, I asked if they changed the crush washer on oil changes and was told that they did not. I carry crush washers just for such occasions and gave them one to use. They checked the car, said my cabin filter was dirty (it was about 3 months old at the time) but I said I would take care of it when I got back home. They proceeded with the oil change and asked me for a nice Google review. They did not reset my reminder but I know how to do that. They should have asked. I decided to wait until the next oil change before reviewing. Normally I do my own oil changes and this time, used Valvoline Instant Oil Change as I was out of town at the oil change time. I changed my oil this week. First, I found the oil plug cover on the bottom of the engine shield to be missing one of it's fasteners. I know it was there the last time I was under the car. The oil plug had a crush washer on it, but the plug itself was way over-torqued and took some effort to loosen. Same with the oil filter - had to use a special tool to remove it even though it's not supposed to be that tight. I finished up and made a note to order a new fastener for the oil plug cover. Once the new oil was in, I got an empty oil bottle and poured the used oil into it to take to the recycle facility. I found that I drained 5 quarts of oil out of a motor that is only supposed to take 4 quarts of oil! So, I felt pretty let down by the lack of knowledge by the people at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I wonder if they even put the right weight oil in or changed the crush washer. I learned that it is better to do the work myself or at the dealer than to trust one of these quick change places. Valvoline Instant Oil Change is off of my list.

  Jeramy took the time to make thoughtful recommendations and provide guidance for auto maintenance for me. He demonstrated his knowledge and didn’t just try to sell me unnecessary services. I don’t recall receiving this kind of thoughtful recommendations in the past. He really did a great job.

  I took my mom's car in because she was convinced it was time for an oil change. The employee found her last oil change on their system and told me the car still had another 1000 miles left before it needed it! I was impressed with their honesty! Thank you Valvoline for great service and integrity!

  Let me start with saying that my family has been coming to this location for years. I remember growing up and waiting while my dad took all of our vehicles here for an oil change. Since he’s passed, and I’ve grown up, even though I now live in Converse, TX, I always find myself coming back here because the impression has always been that this particular Valvoline gets it done, and done right. I was happy of how Ja-Shawn approached me professionally and walked me through a courtesy check of my lights and blinkers. This was really appreciated! Then, Wilbur facilitated the transaction, and I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, recommendations, and ability to build rapport with me naturally. It was clear to me he exhibits an expert level of understanding and customer service. Lastly, Joseph was kind and showed me my fresh oil on the stick, and then made sure I knew when the oil change was done. Overall, the whole experience affirmed why I still come here. Today’s service was exceptional and worth a 5 star review. Thank you Valvoline, and special thanks to Jashawn, Wilbur, and Joseph!

  Hats off to Jose!!!! I take care of my car but rely on help since I am not knowledgeable on engines at all. I really appreciated Jose's honesty when I stopped in for an oil change and he explained that because I don't put a lot of miles on my car the oil was still in good condition and that didn't need an oil change. Saved me some money that day and earned my loyalty. I will definitely be back!!
