  I recommend anyone looking for a good rental car experience to rent from SIXT car rental. First time in San Antonio and the car rental experience was excellent!! Friendly and professional customer service support from beginning to end. Vehicle fully loaded with Google maps to assist us with any and every location. Car clean and drop off location was hassle free. Thanks for keeping us secure and safe on the road!!

  DO NOT USE!! SIXT is a complete scam. I paid weeks in advance almost $1,000 for a rental vehicle to use as I visit family for the first time in over a year. After landing late at night around 11pm from an international flight, all they could tell me was that they had zero vehicles available. So what was the point of them taking my money you ask? The answer: to strand me at the airport when I finally arrived. They eventually refunded me, after over a week… Didn’t seem to have a problem taking my money in under 5 seconds though. I will never use or recommend SIXT again. The most unprofessional scenario I’ve ever been apart of.

  I’m happy to explain my rating. SIXT team was amazing from start to finish. It began when Kenneth walked up to us while we were waiting in line. He greeted us very professionally, and even though my husband and I were walk-ins, he made the process easy and fast. Kenneth was very friendly and set the tone for a great experience. When we went to pick up the rental, Prince helped us. He was fast, professional, and made everything simple. Even when I dropped off the rental, he was just as quick and helpful. The SIXT app was very handy and easy to use. Our original plan was to rent the truck for three days, but we ended up needing it for seven. I was able to extend the rental through the app with no issues, and any time I had a question, the live chat was right there to help. This was our first time renting, and we had an amazing experience all around. PLUS, I want to give a huge shout-out to Kenneth and Prince for finding and holding onto my garage door opener for me. That meant a lot. SIXT is now our go‑to rental service.

  ****Edit**** SIXT got in touch with me and we cleared everything up. They were very courteous and helpful. I figured I’d keep the review but increase it to 5 stars to show that the company really did follow through. “I highly recommend renting from SIXT!!” ****Old**** Lodged a case, no response. I returned a rental early, and checked with the person at the desk in concourse whether I would receive a refund for the unused day. I was never refunded. Sixt will just lie to you about their billing, and you can call, email, and get case numbers, and no one will follow-up.

  Pick up process was a nightmare! Called ahead of leaving for our trip due to our arrival time close to mid night. Was told by the customer service to complete the pre registration and include the flight number. Once they had the flight number they would track our flight and have a car waiting for us. Was told not to worry. Well we arrived at the kiosk around 12:30 and no one in sight. Had to rent from National for 5 hrs to be able to get to our hotel. Called to address issues and their customer service is a joke. The branch manager doesn’t answer calls or respond to emails. Do NOT rent from this company unless you know for sure you are arriving before 12am. The hand out incorrect information via customer service and do not track your flight to check for delays. Very disappointed in their service.
