  The used car dealership was terrible. I do not feel they were honest with us throughout the process. They forced us to purchase the VIP package for $3K (we were able to argue for $2,500, but they would not let us refuse the package. The package provides little value and is basically a money maker for the dealership. Dings (only door dings that can be repaired by paintless), windshield (only repairs - but they don't tell you that. They even gave this whole speech about how expensive it would be to replace the windshield without this insurance (which doesn't cover replacement anyway). I could go on, but believe me, there is little to no value in the VIP package. They made $500 in profit (they wanted to make $ 1,000). They said it was not Gold Certified and sold me a warranty package we did not need. It turns out it was Gold Certified. And they did not tell us it only had one key fob until after we purchased the vehicle. Replacing a Key Fob without the code is very expensive. Just be aware when you shop here.

  i’ve been searching for a car and thinking that I would walk in a Toyota and this one specifically would help me. unfortunately it did not since the management was so unprofessional. Andrew was the manager that was overseeing the salesman and the way that he was talking and the way that I felt so disrespected as a customer, with the mockery due to my price range and racist comments were uncalled for. any first time buyers please save your time and go elsewhere because I promise you you’ll find a vehicle with better help along with better professionalism.

  Do not ever buy a car from this place! They are a bunch of liars and they sell crap cars. Their goal is to have to bring your lemon back to them so they can make more money from you. I am a teacher and I was taken advantage of. I was sold a used 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid for $10k over the selling price because of a "VIP package" that I said I did not want. I was practically begged not to leave without buying the car. I have had nothing, but issues with the car and all they keep asking for is more money. I paid $35,500 for this car. This place is evil. Negative stars would have been an improvement.

  Damian Salazar is the original salesman I had reached out to and was excellent keeping in touch even when i could only txt due to work. He kept me informed and was honest. After showing up an hour early he didn’t make us wait he instead referred another salesman who would take care of my wife and I. Taylor Gunnels was then introduced and was great! Not pushy or aggressive but very relaxed and honest . We gave them a price range for the vehicle and payment and they stuck to it. He worked with us on the truck we wanted and they treated us extremely well. I will definitely buy vehicles from them in the future.

  We had a great experience working with Gabe at Shottenkirk Toyota San Antonio! He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire car-buying process smooth and stress-free. Most importantly, Gabe is a man of his word. Everything he told us and promised us, he followed through on, which we truly appreciated. Although we weren’t happy with several misunderstandings during the process, they were not due to Gabe. He communicated clearly, did what he said he would do, and continued to help us throughout the experience. He took the time to answer all of our questions, never made us feel pressured, and worked with us to make sure we were completely happy with our purchase. Gabe was honest, straightforward, and truly went above and beyond for us. If you’re looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend asking for Gabe. It’s hard to find a salesman who genuinely keeps his word and makes sure his customers are taken care of. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and our new Toyota. Definitely 5 stars!
