  ⭐ 5 Stars – Outstanding Customer Service from Start to Finish! I had an exceptional experience with Safelite from beginning to end! The entire process was seamless, starting with USAA coordinating my windshield replacement. Safelite promptly contacted me by phone to schedule my appointment, followed by timely reminders and confirmation that my Ford Bronco would receive an OEM windshield as requested. On the day of my appointment, Christian contacted me in advance to let me know when he would arrive. He was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He completed the windshield replacement in what seemed like just an hour! Before leaving, Christian took the time to ask if I had any questions and reassured me that if I experienced any issues with the windshield or its calibration, I should not hesitate to contact Safelite. I truly appreciate the excellent communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service throughout the entire experience. Christian represented Safelite exceptionally well, and I highly recommend their services!

  We use the Safelite service as part of our Allstate insurance policy. I had a crack in the windshield of my 2021 RAV4. Apparently, this vehicle has technology that requires more than an average windshield repair, so having that coverage on your policy definitely comes in handy. After filing the claim with Allstate, I was directed to schedule the appointment; I entered the details and scheduled the service to take place at my home. When the technician arrived the first time, it seemed the wrong part had been ordered for my vehicle, even though I indicated it has windshield wipers that auto-start when it rains. When they arrived to change the windshield, they discovered the wrong part had been ordered. With a tight travel deadline, they overnighted the correct part, came out the next day to install it, but ran into another issue. To calibrate my special-featured windshield, which enables the windshield wipers to activate when it detects moisture, the instructions said it required a certain distance from the car to complete this portion of the service. However, we did not have enough clearance where things were situated for our driveway and garage. They offered to take it to their service center for the calibration portion of the installation and returned it quickly. While the initial part wasn't correct, they quickly pivoted and enabled me to receive the great service I needed in time for my road trip, with the windshield replaced. I am grateful for my Allstate auto insurance policy picking up the tab for this windshield replacement service, and I am grateful to Safelite for the exceptional service and quality of work.

  I wish I could say I had a good experience, however that was not the case. I booked a drop and go to replace my windshield almost a week in advance to give plenty of time. As per instructions, I dropped off my truck before 8am which was well before the 9:30 cutoff. The lady at the desk told me I would have my vehicle ready before 5pm pickup. I later got an automatic text at 1:30 saying my vehicle was being worked on. When I arrived at 5pm, my truck was still in the shop with no windshield. I asked there was an issue and the man at the desk told me that's just how long it takes. I continued waiting another hour and a half before my truck was ready (I was told it would be ready in 20 more minutes at one point near 5:30). At no point did staff apologize for the inconvenience, acknowledge any issue, nor treat me as if they had caused any issues at all. I reached out to Safelite customer service and gave an account of my experience and they apologized on the shops behalf and reached out to the shop manager with my case and contact info. A week has passed and I've still not heard back from the shop. If you need work done, go to a different Safelite location that respects their customers.

  Scheduled my windshield replacement online. Arrived for my service and when they finished the install I noticed the technician didn’t install my cowling clips. Told him and basically said they didn’t have replacements and it was up to me. Additionally, they cut the window cowling seal. To finish it off they over charged me. I confronted the manager about the maintenance and the overcharge, he agreed to correct it. They basically canceled the charge and a few days later charged me the same amount again. Recommend you find a local shop and stay away from this chain. Overall customer service from the manager to the technician was subpar at best.

  Incomplete work and terrible customer service. We had our entire back windshield broken out and used this company to replace the windshield. We paid a little over 500 dollars and was told they clean up any broken glass so part of that was an almost 50 dollar charge for a "glass recycling fee" and when the work was done the guy told us to not open our trunk for at least 2 hours. Later that night we went to open the trunk and heard a bunch of broken glass the frame of the trunk and had glass on the floor of the trunk etc. none of the broken glass had been vacuumed up. I called and was told I'd be called back but didn't get a callback I tried again but they had already closed so I cleaned the glass up myself since I had already cut myself on the glass in the trunk and didn't want my kids to get cut etc. and I submitted a callback form on their site but never heard back so I reached out to the customer service line who connected me to the location that came out and spoke to a couple different people and explained each time what happened one of which asked "So what are you trying to do here? I AGAIN explained I at least wanted to be refunded the glass recycling fee because you left most if not all of the glass in my car but he said they would have to escalate this and someone would call be back. Of course no one called. I called again and was told I would be called back and once again nothing. I called again spoke to someone else who said she didn't show any notes but that she would make sure someone called me. Today someone finally called me back just to tell me that the "glass recycling" fee is an automatic charge and cannot be refunded because they did repair the windshield and that next time I should call so they can have someone come out and complete the work if needed. I explained I did call several times and submit their form online etc. but no one called me and it's been almost a month and they just said there is nothing they can do. I will never use this place again and wouldn't recommend them at all.
