  The customer service was disappointing. The sales associates didn’t seem genuinely interested in helping or selling a vehicle. I went in seriously considering purchasing a car, but the indifferent service we received made us decide to look elsewhere. I’m not sure if the salesperson we spoke with was simply having an off day, but either way, the experience left us feeling overlooked. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it certainly wasn’t one that inspired confidence or made us feel valued as potential customers.

  I always have a great experience working with Cody Kyle. He's professional, friendly, and it's always a pleasure to see him. Whenever Cody Kyle is my service advisor, I know my vehicle is in good hands and that I'll be well taken care of. I stopped in for a quick oil change on a busy Monday morning, and he got everything done in a timely manner and had me back on the road. We need more service advisors like Cody Kyle. He's a real asset to Volvo, and I truly appreciate the excellent customer service he consistently provides.

  The most transparent dealership experience in San Antonio! I have purchased about four cars over the last three years from various dealerships around San Antonio, and I can confidently say this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The general manager, Bryan Barton, and Adam L received us warmly and immediately showed us the exact car we had found on their website. Unlike almost every other dealership these days, there was no bait-and-switch. The car advertised was actually there, and the advertised price was the actual price offered—no unwanted, forced dealer add-ons or hidden fees. It is hard to put into words just how seamless and honest this process was. If you are tired of the usual dealership games, do yourself a favor and give them a try. I’ll be recommending them to everyone

  First impressions are everything. We shipped our Volvo from overseas to this dealership. I called after I arrived at San Antonio to let them know I was expecting a shipment from overseas. The clerk said she would notify the manager for him to call me since he was busy. Never received the call. The next day I go to the dealership and asked for the manager. I explained the shipping situation and he said he needed to find out what was needed from their end and would call me back. Never received the call. I go back the next week since my car had arrived the previous day. The manager comes and asks for proof of insurance and drivers license. He said he would make a copy of the insurance but never did. Another manager comes and gives us the keys and basically told us to kick rocks. We asked about updating the settings on the car for USA since the car was set up for Europe. The manager said they don’t do anything with those cars, only store them. I also asked for assistance mounting the license plates since it had the brackets for the European plates and he said they couldn’t do it. They never asked if we needed anything or if they can assist us with anything else. The car will need to be serviced by Volvo but I don’t want to do business with them. I rather drive an hour to Austin. Extremely poor customer service by the managers. Service department lady was nice though.

  Constant hiccups from the Service Department. Most recently, I called for guidance as I had a chip in my windshield from the highway. I notified the rep over the phone that I had the warranty purchased from this dealership when I bought the vehicle. He said they could handle it and set an appointment for two days later in the morning. I took the morning off from work so I could drop the car off, but when I arrived there the woman mashed her finger in the windshield chip said they only replace windshields, not repair. She mentioned the person that makes appointments has no knowledge like a service advisor would. I'm a little concerned that the person setting appointments does not know the services the dealership provides as the notes of my appointment, set for 2 days, state it was for a windshield repair. Her only solution was to go home and call the warranty to schedule someone to come to my house. Well, I called the warranty and they said they cannot start anything and I had to get it done myself and they would pay for it after the repair company gets the claim started. So, I called Safelite and they said the warranty company had to start the claim. Lastly, I had to call the warranty company back just for them to say, yes, Safelite is one of our preferred vendors and we start the claim from our end. To wrap this event up, Principle Volvo has no problem selling you these warranty add ons, but drops you off the side of the road when it comes to servicing that warranty. I just wish there was another Volvo dealership in the area. When I bought the car, the finance rep warned that I could go to the Austin dealership, but because of their software they would not be able to find any of my warranties or service contracts. So, it looks like they fear monger you into staying with them. The last time I had service here started smooth after drop off they provided a loaner vehicle. A few hours later was called to say my car was ready and to come pick it up. I was at the dealership an hour later and was then told it would be another 30 minutes as they had forgotten to wash the car. It ended up being an hour before it was ready. When the car was finally ready, I had to help another one of their customers that was now stranded at the dealership after being told they could take the courtesy van back to their hotel. I drove them back to their hotel just down the street instead of them having to wait the quoted hour for the driver. I will say I absolutely love the vehicle, I just again wish there was another Volvo dealership in the area for service. It is pointless to put any detail or make any selections when making a service appointment because they end up asking you what you are there for and let you know that they are busy and it will be a while. So much for the luxury brand service.
