  Summer was super helpful and friendly. Picking out my car was pretty easy, dropping it off was even easier. Thank you National for making this part of my trip easy.

  I accidentally left my suit coat hanging on the hook in the back driver's side when I returned the car at the airport. I was on the phone and therefore distracted when I dropped off the car. When I unpacked my suitcase (which was in the trunk) I realized my suit coat wasn't in my suitcase. I called and they said they would check the lost and found. I replied to the text message from the general manager who always sends a text after a rental and asks how everything was and could I give them a great review. I replied to the email that was similar to the text from the general manager. All three (phone, text and email) responded the same; they will check the lost and found. They emailed me a link to fill out to describe and upload a picture of what was left behind. A few weeks later and I am told they never found the suit coat, which means someone threw it away or someone stole it. Yes, I made the mistake and left it behind by accident, however they threw it away on purpose or someone took it home with them. In either case, it was a terrible service. experience

  I’ve flown into San Antonio twice in the last week. This location is a total mess. Workers are difficult to locate. Only 2 checkouts being manned with a line of cars trying to get out. I’m executive elite and they had no cars available only minivans. Had to wait over 15 minutes until they could locate a car. I love National because they are always on top of it but this location is absolutely the worst one I have been to. Changes need to be made.

  National saved me. I got to the desk completely frazzled after my car gave out 2 hours into a 14 hour trip. They were so patient with me as I could barely think to answer questions at that point “credit card? Oh yeah, I think I have one of those…” They set me up with a Palisade which made my long road trip safe and comfortable! From now on I will only use National to rent a car.

  Great experience overall — would rent again! I recently rented a car through National and the experience was smooth from start to finish. The pickup process was quick and straightforward — no long lines or unnecessary delays. The vehicle was clean, well maintained and exactly what I needed for my trip. What I appreciate most about National is the Emerald Club program — being able to walk straight to the lot and choose your own car is a huge time saver, especially when you travel frequently for work. The staff was professional and helpful whenever I had a question. The return process was equally fast — drop the keys and go. For business travelers who need reliability and efficiency, National is consistently one of the best options out there. Highly recommend!
