  Branch advertised as 24/7 however no one was present upon my flights arrival at 3AM. When someone did arrive an hour later, I was told that the 8 seater I booked was unavailable, and that I would have to come back later. Over the years, I can say this is the first time I've been this disappointed by a National location.

  The website let me do my reservation for a Tahoe despite having just a debit card. Got a nice Jeep. Its 2am. Im grateful they are the only 24 hr rental place. So it took 40 minutes in line just to leave the place, so I happily waited. Everything checked out and all he had to do was let me leave. Instead last minute, the night time gatekeeper tells me that customers with one-way flights who have just a debit card are not allowed to take a large SUV! Even though the National reservation website had no problem with it. And I have to wait another 70 minutes for the night manager to approve when he gets here at 430pm. Mind you this place is supposed to be 24/7 but all the other staff have left. Line of cars out the door and customers standing around at the empty kiosk. The online system already approved me but the gatekeeper seems to be making up his own rules. He tries to walk away and I ask him politely (once) if I buy the outbound plane ticket (the other leg of my 2 way trip) then is it okay for me to leave with the vehicle I rented?? He says if I ask him that again he is going to call security on me. I calmly back up as instructed. I am made to back out slowly and I decide to go park the vehicle, abandoned by staff. He claims I am at risk of hitting another car (untrue) even though I am an expert driver going 2 miles an hour. I park my car gently and politely and Im waiting 70 more minutes until 4:30am for the manager to arrive hopefully. Imagine if I had kids in the car, this would have been worse for me. All I ask is that they clearly advertise UP FRONT the fact that you can only rent anything if you have a credit card. You have to disclose that to people before they base their entire travel plans on it.

  One person at the desk is wild. You have three computers. USE THEM. The man you have at the front is the slowest national rep I have ever encountered. Put him in the back and get someone with energy in the front. I shouldn’t be wasting my whole day waiting for the rental car!

  Throughout 20 years of business related travel, I have always experienced outstanding customer service, received clean and well maintained equipment, and obtained very competitive pricing on any of my auto rental needs from National. The difference of Exec Level membership or as a member of Emerald Club has always been a consistent delivery of outstanding product and service from National. I am a major National Car Rental fan . Thank you!

  We just left the airport and was totally elated by the customer service provided by Summer. She was a beautifully bright face that welcomed us into Texas (traveling from Virginia). She was so kind, found our reservations quickly and made small talk. When we were confirmed and received papers Cynthia acknowledged we looked lost. She pointed us into the direction of our vehicle all while exchanging banter that made us feel welcomed. What a great way to start this weekend trip!!
