  They got the job done eventually but it was never looking right they used unnecessary tools to remove a wiper blade break the plastic and having to pry it off with a screwdriver seemed much I think a bit more training may help got the job done every thing works great

  Well what can I say. I was on my way home and decided to get the oil change out of the way. I told the attendant that I just wanted a basic oil change, I just got off work (around 4:00pm) and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I went inside and waited and then this is where it got hot. He told me that my truck was due for a tire rotation, a radiator flush and a battery cleaning and proceeded to show me the vehicle recommendation on his computer and I stopped him in mid sales pitch and told him that I was not interested in any thing else but the basic oil change. I left him talking to the computer screen and went back inside slightly elevated with anger. Then he comes in and tells me that he will clean my battery at no charge. Only adding fuel to the fire. At that point, I quit talking and ignoring him. I paid and he walked me to the car and I totally ignored him. Needless to say, I have been there about 3 times because it is close to Fort Sam Houston Army base and convenient for me but this incident just lost a Jiffy Lube customer. I will not be going back to that place but I do not want to repeat the discomfort I felt. It was as if I was talking to the wall when I would say 'I'm not interested' and he continued to sales pitch as if I wasn't there. Okay I've said enough. Oh and one last thing. When I paid, he told me the prices have gone up from $59.00 to $69.00. Have a nice life Jiffy Lube.

  Don't fall for the same bait-and-switch experience I did. I was looking for an oil change near my area and found this Jiffy Lube location on Austin Highway. Before going in, I checked Groupon and found a full synthetic oil change deal for my Toyota RAV4 for about $74. I intentionally did not purchase it yet because I wanted to confirm that the shop would honor the Groupon price. When I arrived, an employee approached me and asked what service I needed. I explained that I was interested in the Groupon deal and also asked whether the Groupon price or my military discount would save me more money. He told me the Groupon deal was the better option. I requested only an oil change—no additional services. When it came time to pay, I purchased the Groupon deal as instructed. However, after I paid, the employee returned and told me I still owed about $36. Confused, I asked why, since I had already purchased the full Groupon package. That's when he informed me that oil prices had increased the previous week and that the actual total was now $112 for first-time customers. None of this was disclosed before the service was performed. After going back and forth, he eventually applied a military discount and reduced the total to about $93. At that point, I paid the difference rather than continue arguing and wasting more time. My disappointment isn't that the oil change ended up costing around $100—that's actually what I normally pay elsewhere. The issue is the lack of transparency and being hit with unexpected charges after confirming the price beforehand. I won't be returning, and I would encourage others to get the final price before agreeing to any service here.
