One of the worst experiences I've ever had with Enterprise. They will smoke in the car and try to pawn it off to the next customer, look out, they'll drown the car in chemicals and you'll only smell it on the road. I've never smoked a day in my life and the manager had the gall to say I left ashes and smoked in the damn thing. Scammers just trying to get money out of you and blame you for other passengers or hell maybe some of them smoking in their own cars.

The experience was quick I was doing a swap HOWEVER amiya(I believe that was her name, she has long dreads and dresses as a man) and and and older bald slim build African American gentleman were extremely unprofessional, confrontational, acting as they wanted to fight speaking loudly to my husband clapping their hands saying "this is all we got now take it and leave." We we're taken back by the way they behaved, as our children were with us. We have swapped vehicles at other airports before and have NEVER experienced any behavior from any enterprise employees EVER! We understand it's a busy time with the 4th of July weekend coming but the way amiya and the other gentleman behaved was not called for.

I had a very uncomfortable and concerning experience at Enterprise. During my rental process, the customer service representative repeatedly questioned me about whether I had a U.S. visa, even after I clearly explained that I am an international student and had all my valid immigration and identification documents with me. What made the situation even more concerning was that the employee was wearing Meta smart glasses while handling my passport. At one point, he appeared to use the glasses and said, “Hey Meta, does this passport have a visa?” while looking at my personal document. I was never asked for consent to have my passport viewed or analyzed by an AI-powered wearable device. I understand Enterprise has the right to refuse service or decline a rental if they believe something is not in order. However, the repeated questioning went far beyond what felt necessary, especially considering not even TSA had questioned my documentation during my travels. The entire interaction made me feel singled out because of my nationality and made me feel as if there was something wrong with me despite having all my legal paperwork. Handling sensitive customer documents with smart glasses and making customers feel profiled is not acceptable. Enterprise should seriously review its privacy policies and customer service practices. In the end, I canceled my reservation and made a new one with Thrifty, and I had no problems at all. The process was smooth, professional, and respectful. I highly recommend Thrifty instead of going through the stress and discomfort I experienced with Enterprise.

I’ve generally had good experiences in the past, which makes this recent experience especially disappointing. I reserved a Premium SUV more than a month in advance and arrived at the rental counter on time, only to be told that no Premium SUVs were available. While the representative was polite and offered a minivan instead along with a discount, it was frustrating that a reservation made so far in advance could not be honored. We completed a rental agreement for a two-day rental, and I accepted the substitute vehicle based on the agreed pricing. However, when I returned the vehicle after one day, I discovered I had been charged more than what was outlined in the agreement. Instead of simply charging me for one rental day, the company applied an hourly rate that ended up costing more than the daily rate, resulting in a higher charge than expected. The vehicle substitution was inconvenient but manageable. The billing issue is what really left a bad impression. If customers agree to specific rental terms and pricing, those terms should be honored, especially when the original reservation could not be fulfilled. I hope this was an isolated incident because my previous experiences have been positive, but this situation has made me think twice about future rentals.

We had a 4-day one way rental from Katy TX to San Antonio. We picked up the car and accepted it after a close inspection that showed no damage anywhere on the car. We drove 2 1/2 hr in the sun to the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk where the car was put in valet parking. Three days later we checked out and drove 15 min. in clear weather to San Antonio airport and returned the car. The Enterprise staffer immediately started claiming the roof had hail damage which neither my wife nor I could see any evidence of and we told him so. He didn’t note any damage anywhere else on the car. A few weeks later I received a hail damage claim for several thousand dollars and pictures alleging hail damage over the entire vehicle. It is definitely a fraudulent claim where Enterprise is trying to extort money from me or my insurance company. Do not under any circumstances rent from Enterprise Rent A Car. They are a dishonest and deceitful company.
