- EREliana RodriguezJun 13, 20261.0I made an online reservation and arrived at the branch to pick up my vehicle. After checking in, Alyssa informed me there would be approximately a 40-minute wait. Because I had already paid for an Uber to get there and needed transportation, I rearranged my schedule. I returned to the branch within about five minutes. At that point, there were only two customers ahead of me in line. I observed Alyssa assist the customer at the front of the line and complete a rental. I heard a rental rate quoted that was lower than the rate for my reservation, and the customer left in an SUV. By the time it was my turn, Alyssa informed me that my reservation had been canceled and could not be reinstated, and that my only option was a more expensive SUV. What was difficult to understand was how my reserved vehicle was no longer available just minutes later, especially when other rentals were still being processed. Given the short amount of time that had passed, I would have appreciated a clearer explanation of what changed and why my reservation could not be reinstated. The experience was frustrating and disappointing. I understand there may have been factors I was not aware of, but I would have appreciated clearer communication and a greater effort to honor my reservation or provide a comparable alternative.
