Bought a 2026 Sentra SV and traded my 2024 Versa. This is the worst Nissan car dealership in San Antonio, I like my new car but the salesman was terrible. Kept coming up with random selling points, never trusted him, didn’t even introduce himself in the beginning. Felt very mislead and undersold. I personally had to do my own research on the vehicle because the salesman had no clue what he was talking about. The receptionist had the worse attitude and didn’t smile once, she clearly didn’t want to be there. DO NOT COME HERE! GO TO ANCIRA NISSAN! Love my car but terrible people run this place, did not feel taken care of. Why did the finance lady know more about the car and was more friendly and understanding than the salesman. Salesman had no clue about tint, never mentioned the Nissan or thief protection app. Countless times I was told I would receive a text, never did and had to go out of my way to advocate for myself on getting the ball rolling on everything. Never got the itemized list I asked for numerous times. My car is also missing an SV badge for some reason. I also witnessed two employees smoking right next to a “No Smoking” sign, I had to be getting Punked. DO NOT COME HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I will go to any length to make sure I never come back here. The salesman was Navid and the great finance lady was named Carissa.

I know my options are limited due to financial circumstances but I still think its very unprofessional to ask someone “who’s the first person you’d call if you get arrested” and as well get harassed to find a co-signer with questions like “are you scared of them” and “are you scared to ask”. I don’t find that very professional in any shape or form. Even before this I told them my circumstances and they told me I’d get a 500 down offer but then was told I’d need a co-signer or pay 40% of the vehicle. They told me no bank in San Antonio would accept it and no other dealership in San Antonio would finance me a car. Long story short I found a 2015 Toyota Camry and paid 50% less of the Nissan Sentra I was shown. I went elsewhere and did get approved the same day. Christie was the person I spoke to over the phone and Winston or Watson was the guy who was asking these questions. Both him and his manager who I don’t recall his name where the ones who were harassing me to find a co-signer and made the sale very uncomfortable

I am extremely disappointed with Benson Nissan. My interaction with this dealership was brief, but it was enough to convince me to take my business elsewhere. The sales representative I was dealing with, who goes by the name of Kiyy, refused to provide me with a straightforward written price unless I first completed a credit application, even though I made it clear that I intended to pay cash. When I questioned this, Kiyy told me they couldn't give me a straightforward price because they had to "protect the integrity of their prices." As a cash buyer, that explanation made absolutely no sense and only raised more concerns about the dealership's pricing practices. To make matters worse, their customer service was poor. Calls were not returned, and getting a simple answer felt like pulling teeth. Buying a vehicle should be transparent and straightforward, not filled with unnecessary obstacles and excuses. Based on my experience, the entire process lacked transparency and professionalism. I left feeling that their business practices were intentionally secretive and, in my opinion, very shady. There are plenty of dealerships that treat customers with respect and provide upfront pricing. Unfortunately, Benson Nissan is not one of them, and I cannot recommend doing business with them.

Bought a car in June and it had the check engine light on the day they showed it to my wife. The agreement was she would buy it as long as the check engine light issue was fixed but since than shes been in and out of that place 3 times. Each time thinking they would fix the check engine light only to find the check engine light still on the car and we live 45 minuted awsy from dealership. No one knows how to give proper updates on the car and we keep having to call. She finally asked for them to give her a rental since it will be awhile and they give her the rental dirty on the outside and dirty on the inside full of another customers trash all over the floor. She finds someone to clean it after they already gave her the keys to it and tild her she was good to go, the little girl at front desk did not even apoligize for giving her a dirty car. Since the 3 visits and now a rental now the car has been in the shop for a month and they cant turn the engine light off. So today my wife asks on the phone for update and they tell her they dont have a eta about car so she asks if instead she can just trade her car. They tell her yes she drives there and they already know how much her trade is first and than show her two cars, a used one and a brand new one but than because she cant pay for a 800 dollar car they than switch to they cant take her trade in and dont put her in another vehicle thats close to the budget shes doing now. They wont even try any of the used cars and mind you she was willing to pay 400+ a month on a different vehicle. They told her your cars in shop so we will just call you when its done and also we gave you a rental.NO the warranty did that. Why tell her dhe could come trafe her car and waste her time!!! Mind you still no eta on her car. Im so fed up with this place treating my wife so poorly will be connecting with higher up on this unprofesional dealership. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE RUN!!!

Taylor was doing what he has been taught to do…people are Only as good as you train them, can’t blame them For not being trained adequately .. he was trying .. the manager that came over or took over was fast talking car salesman … first big mistake I hear over and over the initial salesperson can not negotiate. Manager came over with a sheet of paper and asked what monthly payment I was looking for? I said that depended on the sale price and interest rate. Seems like my credit score was not even considered. He was looking for the best sales for him… regardless … he said they would transfer insurance … and if I had to do it over again I would. Asked about my insurance and they said they would take care of it. Same as payoff for vehicle trade in. After I came home I went to insurance company .. they had nothing from Benson.. they let me drive off without insurance ?? I had to enroll the vehicle there and then… I also called my prior vehicle finance “Nissan Automotive” they stated they had no payoff and it had been 10 days and suggested I contact Benson and inquire about it. That day seemed busy for the dealership.. regardless customer service pare people not to be treated like a number “ChaChing”. While I was there, I brought it to there attention about the restrooms being dirty .. the salesman, the finance lady and another worker that stated the maintance man worked in the afternoon. I got there at 9:30 am. Went 2-3 times and they were the same 😝😝😝 left at 4-5 and never cleaned. Called the finance lady and transferred to voicemail twice and another on her cell. Today I called her and stated that was not her number and she texted it to me. I had left her 2 messages on Dealer number voicemail . Seems like they are very disorganized. There was a lady waiting for her vehicle with a baby in her arms 2-3 year old . I offered if the boy liked a cinnamon roll.. she said she had been there since 7:30 and it was close to 10 am. They were busy but Saturdays, they should know to schedule employees to do service that has been gone through reservations. I am from out of town 80 miles away, I can’t be waiting 2-3 hours for an oil change or whatever I made reservations for. Thats enough for now.. At 72 A Veteran senior citizen a lot of BS.. I asked about veteran discount and like before, oh it is in the dealer discount .. then they should have stated “this is the dealer discount, it includes all that” that means everybody get the dealer discount that includes what ever people ask for?” That is not In writing explaining what is included in the dealer discount. Then why ask any questions if I am a veteran, first responder or what ever… 😵‍💫😝😝😝
