The older man (Tim) at the register did not want to honor the price of the item I was purchasing even though I went back upstairs and took pictures. He kept arguing that the system says it is an 8 piece set, where as the package says it is 7-pieces (not counting the case). I even showed that the SKU numbers matched up perfectly. After a bunch of back and forth with the employee, I asked for a manager. The manager at the booth directed the employee to have me go to customer service to dispute the matter. Then, as I was about to walk over to them, the manager (at the exit podium) asked to see what the issue was. As I showed him the pictures versus what the employee was disputing with me, he advised me to go to another register as "that man's been getting on his nerves" and he instructed the other employee (Mara) to honor the advertised price. I felt this was unnecessary for any customer to have to experience. I should not have to feel like I am working harder than an employee by running back and forth to gather evidence of an advertised price. Although the end result was satisfactory, I do not feel a manager should voice their discernment with an employee to customers in such a manner. I feel the employees and management would both benefit from some further training.
