  Came in to get a new battery after work. Blake assisted me right away as I walked in and installed the new battery/checked my alternator after too. Super efficient, friendly, and fast service.

  i went to this store just to see if they could check my coolant fluid level and to help me check my cabin air filter to see if i needed to replace them (pretty simple and quick tasks), but both the employee and manager told me they couldn’t do it and all they could tell me was to see a mechanic when i know it wasn’t a problem that a mechanic has to worry about and i wasn’t pleased with the service i received because i even had the manager say to my face that he forgot about me after helping other customers like what??? there were only 2-3 other people there besides myself and i waited for over 10 mins to received no service or help at all. ridiculous, i never had an issue like this at other locations so they definitely won’t be getting my business again after this because that is insane and i hope no one else ever has to go through what i did!

  My husband just told me "Hey can you go write a review for the Rowlett Autozone because Blake was awesome. That was the best customer service I've ever had at an Autozone. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He changed my battery for me and it was overall so great."

  I came to validate a warranty for a battery that was giving me trouble. The salesperson—a guy named Myke—was incredibly rude and condescending, acting as if he owned the store or was paying for the merchandise himself. On top of that, the battery they offered as a replacement isn't the same one I originally bought; I didn't pay $100 for it—it cost nearly $250. These kinds of employees act like they own the place. Look, man, you’re just another employee. You really ought to treat customers better, because without us, you wouldn't have a job. It’s not like you’re giving us anything for free—we pay for everything, and it certainly isn't cheap. I felt like he was being racist toward me for being Hispanic when I tried to honor the warranty—especially when another American showed up and he even changed the way he spoke to them. It’s the same money everyone else pays with, and it’s the same money I earn, too. That guy provided garbage customer service.

  Blake Shelton at AutoZone provided outstanding customer service. My check engine light had been coming on and off for a while, and Blake took the time to diagnose the problem with the scanner. He recommended Cataclean and clearly explained how to use it correctly. When the light was still on the next day, I came back, and Blake gladly checked it again, reset the system, and the check engine light went off. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. Blake is a great asset to AutoZone, and I truly appreciate his excellent service. Thank you, Blake!
