    I had a great experience leasing my new Tucson here, and Charlie was a major part of that. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the car I wanted and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was how much time he took to walk me through all of the features and show me how everything worked before I left the dealership. I’ve never had a salesman do that before. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and happy with my purchase. Cody, Gene, and Jorge were also great to work with throughout the process. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this dealership if you’re looking for a new car!

    Alexis in the service department took exceptional care of me regarding my concerns after my 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid’s battery completely discharged while sitting in my driveway. She even sent me a link to purchase a trickle battery charger as it seems I don’t drive my auto often enough. My prior oil change experience was pleasant as well. The care, concern, and professionalism from the service department only slightly compensates for the terrible buying experience I had at this Rockwall location.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

    After dealing with a local car repair shop for our Hyundai and being extremely frustrated, we took our Kona to the dealership in Rockwall and have been taken care of beyond our expectations. We've been communicating with Alexis, the Service Advisor, and she has been attentive, proactive, and so pleasant. Best Customer Service! We did not buy our Hyundai from this dealership, but I'd be willing to consider my next purchase from them due to her level of service. I can only hope the same from other employees. Thank you, Alexis!!

    I had an exceptional experience at Clay Cooley Hyundai of Rockwall. We actually bought our 2018 Tucson brand new from this exact dealership, so as the original owners, it was incredibly stressful when it suddenly developed a severe internal engine knock at only 56,000 miles. Because I handle my own maintenance and do detailed research, I knew exactly what the technical service bulletins and warranty extensions entailed before I even had the vehicle towed back to their lot. Service Advisor Veronica Aguero and Service Director Darold Ohlemacher were incredible to work with. Instead of giving me the runaround, they respected our purchase history with the dealership and my research, and immediately went to bat for us with Hyundai Corporate. They successfully secured a complete remanufactured engine replacement under the extended warranty and provided a service loaner vehicle to keep my family moving. While they had the car, they proactively knocked out three open software and security recalls and performed a transmission diagnostic. We walked out with a fresh engine, updated systems, and a final invoice of exactly $0.00. If you are looking for a service department that is transparent, efficient, and truly respects long-time customers who know their vehicles, I highly recommend going to see Darold and Veronica.

    5/15-It has now been 15 business days since I contacted the corporate office regarding this situation, and I still have not received any response. After five visits for the same unresolved issue, repeated miscommunication, and being instructed to escalate my concerns, the continued lack of follow-up has only added to my frustration and disappointment with this experience. 4/28 Update- After five visits, I was still asked to reach out myself instead of being contacted directly. *Updated* My experience at Clay Cooley Hyundai of Rockwall has been unacceptable. This has turned into five visits over two weeks for the same unresolved TPMS issue, along with repeated misinformation and a complete lack of communication. My first visit was Tuesday 4/14 for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told my car was “perfect and healthy” and ready to go, invoice in hand. Minutes later, I was told there was a nail in my tire and it needed to be replaced—completely contradicting what I had just been told. I left work early the next day to have the tire replaced. While I was there, I was told the TPMS wasn’t working and needed to be replaced. However, when I received my invoice, there was no mention of any TPMS replacement. The very next morning, my dashboard lit up with a TPMS error. I called to report it and, despite there being no record of the TPMS on my invoice, I was simply told to come back in. When I returned a week later on 4/23, I was told again that the TPMS needed to be ordered and was given a loaner vehicle. This was now my third visit, spending hours at the dealership with no resolution—and not once was there any apology. On Friday, I was told the TPMS had been replaced and my car was ready. I showed up early the next morning, only to be told by another associate that the part had just arrived that day and my car was not ready. Again, no apology. While I was there this morning, I was told in person that no one would be able to work on my car until Monday. A few hours later, I received an alert from my Hyundai app that my car had been running for 45 minutes. I had to call the service department myself to find out they were working on it—no one contacted me. Being told one thing in person and then seeing the complete opposite happen without any communication is unacceptable. When I called to express how frustrated I was with the disorganization, lack of communication, and that I would be picking up my car because of it, the only response I received was, “okay.” No apology, no attempt to address the situation—nothing. At this point, this is not just a repair issue—it is a clear pattern of poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional service. After five visits, conflicting information every step of the way, and still no resolution, I have zero confidence in this service department. This reflects extremely poorly on the dealership.
