  I have used at least five NTB locations, and each was a good experience. This is my first visit to an NTB converted to Mavis, and it was not a good experience. Knowing what I know now, I would not have gone to a Mavis location. Good Prices: The prices are fair. Fixed: The car is fixed. Not so good Check-in: I scheduled online and was the only customer. The check-in took 20 minutes. One employee had to answer phone calls and check me in at the same time. It appears the Mavis computer system does not work as well as the NTB computer system. Estimate: They did not give a written estimate. They only told me the prices verbally. Check-out: I was the only customer. It took 20 minutes to check out. I had to ask for an itemized bill before paying. Oil Change: They did not put a sticker on the windshield with the miles for the next oil change. They did not fill the washer fluid until I asked them after the service was done. I realize these are minor, but NTB has done both before. Services: I was told the person who checks A/C is off on Tuesdays. They cannot perform state inspections at this time due to the transition from NTB to Mavis. This location was recently converted from NTB to Mavis, so maybe customers will have a better experience in the future.

  This is a hidden jewel in Richardson. I went there for a tyre problem, the staff is very nice and professional - Starting at the reception and all way through all the other employees. They keep you informed of the status of your car. I definetly recomend it!

  Thought I would try this place as I have had pretty good experience from NTB at this location before. The store is clean and the staff was nice but my service did not go well. I was told that two of my tires had been patched and I was good to go. Turns out the same tire I went In to fix stiff had a slow leak that same afternoon and It was not fixed. Please check their work after going here.

  Second time coming here for an alignment. First time everything went smoothly. The tech that worked on it seemed to be very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Way different experience the second time. Dropped my truck off about 9:30am for an alignment and tpms sensor switch-out. Was told it could take an hour. Not an issue, I was in no rush at the time. Left the truck went home. 11:40 am, I receive a call with a recommendation for new tire. I decline and then I’m told the car is ready whenever I am. Take an uber back to the shop. When I arrive, I’m told that they hadn’t realized that the truck was supposed to have an alignment done. And then I’m asked what I would like to do, take the car without the alignment or wait there? I ask how long? Again, 1 hour. Then I’m told that the tpms sensor I have on is good that I just need to drive on it more. I’ve been driving on that sensor for a couple months and it hasn’t reset. So what exactly was done on my truck for the two hours it’s been at the shop except look at my tire to tell me I should buy a new one? Here I am 1:20p STILL waiting on my vehicle to be finished. I can tell the service manager cares and wants to make sure everyone leaves happy but something’s not working out. Since I’ve been sitting here for sometime, I’ve heard other customers come in and leave unhappy. One had an appt at 1:00p and the car wasn’t going to be able to be worked on. Another had an appt at 12:30p and her car was just pulled in to get worked on. If it wasn’t for the real effort of some of these employees to be friendly, I’d be giving this experience 1 star.
