  came in on August 20th to get my car serviced. TJ was walking through and handed me his business card just in case I was interested. After seeing the repair estimate for my current car, I decided to look into getting a replacement instead. Long story short, I left with a brand new 2026 VW Taos! TJ was realistic and helpful throughout the entire process. He was patient with my indecision from beginning to end and allowed me to make the choice that was best for me without any high-pressure tactics. He made sure I was well taken care of in finance and even helped transfer all of my things from my old car to the new one. He even called to check in a few days later. TJ Shallola (salesman), Chris (sales GM), and the rest of the team answered every question I had without hesitation. I wasn't expecting to buy a new car that day, but this experience made it entirely worthwhile.

  Buying my new vehicle from Clay Cooley Volkswagen in Richardson was such a great experience thanks to Nadine Said! She made the entire process smooth, straightforward, and actually enjoyable. She listened to what I wanted, helped me find a vehicle that fit my needs, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Nadine’s knowledge, patience, and customer service were exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled and that I drove away completely happy with my purchase. It is clear she genuinely cares about her customers. I highly recommend asking for Nadine Said if you visit Clay Cooley Volkswagen in Richardson. She is a true professional and made this one of the best car-buying experiences I have ever had!

  I bought two vehicles on the same day from this dealership, and the experience was genuinely smooth from start to finish. Chris, the general manager, handled most of the deal with me over text before I even came in, which made everything quick and easy. He was straightforward, responsive, and had everything lined up ahead of time.When I arrived, Alex helped me in person and did a great job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure the rest of the process went just as smoothly.Overall, both Chris and Alex took great care of me, and I highly recommend this dealership.

  I'm not sure what the issue with the Clay Cooley Volkswagen Richardson service department is but the amount arrogance that exists in unreal. I need service on my car and received a text that service loaners are available. I spoke with KJ yesterday. He told me that he would have a loaner by morning and that he would call me back. Never heard anything back from him. I called back again today and spoke with an advisor named Austin. I introduced myself and told him the issue. He tells me that they do have loaners but they don't and the there's a list you have to go on to be approved for a loaner. When I tried to get clarity about this list he asked me for my name and phone number and told me that he would have KJ "give me a shout." This is the poor level of service that Clay Cooley is known for and its pathetic that their employees pass the blame to someone else rather than addressing the issue. I wonder how much money Clay has lost because of the low level of service and professionalism of employees like this?

  Don’t buy a vehicle from clay Cooley Volkswagen. On 9/16, I purchased a “new” Tiguan. It appeared to be perfect cosmetically… however, I quickly realized I had purchased a mechanically unsound lemon. My first red flag was when they forced me into VW insurance “IN CASE SOMETHING MECHANICALLY WENT WRONG” mhmmm. I originally refused this service, as *everything* should be under warranty on a new car. Now I understand why despite my refusal, Ferris with the final numbers, “made it happen” at the SAME PRICE, bc what if something happened and I quote:you never know ?!!!!!! Said Ferris. … mhmmmm NOT EVEN 24 Hrs after purchase, the check engine light came on. THE FUEL PUMP WAS BROKEN. On a new car with 2,000 miles. They kept it for a week to replace it ! I was told it was nothing to worry about from Blake, in the service dept. I expressed concerns on day one, and he told me that he thought it was not normal but seemed to be an “isolated incident” come to find out later, the owner prior to me had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM and it was obviously NOT FIXED. But keep reading… After a week of replacing said fuel pump, They give me the Tiguan I purchased back. After driving it 3 times, I take it back to VW bc my accelerator isn’t working correctly. The RPMs go crazy upon acceleration and it jumps or stalls when I try to go from stop. This is a fuel delivery system issue, as the fuel pump affected acceleration. I tried to drop it off on Friday, but Blake tells me they don’t have any loaner cars. He also tells me there is a SECOND fuel pump they may need to look at. At this point, I have NEVER had a functional vehicle. I tell the service manager Juan, Blake in the service department, and Kenadre the salesman that I want my money back bc this is obviously a mechanical issue and a lemon, and they say they can’t do that! TO CALL VOLKSWAGEN. My father looks through the paperwork and find the name of the previous owner. He calls her. She is livid. They ran her through the same BS with a TAOS. They had her in a loaner for six months. Then they gave her the opportunity to purchase this Tiguan. The exact same one I purchased. She drove it 200 miles and the check engine light came on. She told my father they said the problem was the fuel pump. THE FUEL PUMP!!!!!! She had to go through the Volkswagen wagon “good Samaritan trade in process” or whatever they call it- and although she still lost a lot of money AND TIME in the deal, was able to purchase a Toyota thru clay the crook Cooley . I didn’t have the time to go through this BS. So we TRADED IN my brand new 2022 Tiguan that I was sold for 39,000+ They gave me 34,000. We asked where my 2,000 down payment went. They said it was GONE. I lost FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to these crooks. In the end, I left with Lexus, a headache, and a complete distrust in CLAY COOLEY and his JACK WAGONS
