- MMM MAug 20, 20261.0Day staff or atleast the young lady at the register, the tall skinny one was very unwelcoming. She looked disgusted to ha e to check me out. She's talking and mingling with her guy friend or boyfriend who was hanging out by the doors leaning on the wall by her register. She was all laughs and talkin with him. I'm in line just trying to check out and she can't even greet or say Hey I can help you. The thinks I we read minds. Anyhow...I'm hispanic truck driver. Within seconds she goes from smiling and talking with her guy friend to lookin at me and her face changes to a look of disgust towards me. I'm just just trying to pay for my stuff. I smiled and said hey how you doin. She didn't say anything and was all attitude. I looked over at her guy friend and he is just looking at me. I'm just like, wow, I'm just trying to pay for my stuff and got looked at crazy by her and her dude who doesn't even work there. Not sure what her problem was to go from all smiles with her buddy to looking at a paying customer all crazy with an attitude. We truckers may look like bums with our backpacks trying to get a shower and recharge, and maybe the fact that I'm hispanic added to her being that way, but that's the last thing we need. How does just trying to purchase an item go south with a lady who looks like she doesn't want to ring me up with a dirty look and an attitude? The night staff is so much friendlier and so much more professional. Someone should correct this young lady and tell her to treat all customers friendly regardless of how they may appear or the color of their skin. To conclude, it was a rather unpleasant purchasing experience for a paying customer.
