  Had to have my X3 towed in due to limp mode. Next day I was told that the mechatronic module needed to be replaced at $10K. I asked for them to look again that can’t be it. Was told it went through all the diagnostic steps and that is what BMW verified it was. I had it towed to Eagle Transmission and I was told they found a loose wire, since they had to have someone come out and reprogram they would have to charge me $400. I was in shock! Please don’t go to this dealer for anything other than the routine oil changes. Such a scam place to take your car for their overpriced lies!

  I love how streamlined BMW is. I received a notification on my app that service was due and I was immediately connected to the service department nearest to my location. Plano had plenty of appointments open during my availability and I was able to schedule and add to my calendar with one click. When I drove into the service bay, I was immediately greeted and took a seat in the comfortable waiting area. They quoted me an hour and a half wait for my oil change, including the multipoint inspection. I received updates while I waited, along with a video inspection from the technician and recommendations along with their cost. I love the efficiency of being able to communicate immediately, and actually see the issues without having techs and service managers running in and out of the waiting room. It cuts down on my wait time and the amount of necessary interactions. As usual, free car wash is included but I declined due to time and the chance of rain tonight. Typical of the BMW experience, everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. Most notable of all, was the respect for my time and having me on my way within the quoted time. Great job!
