I just needed some air in my tires, pulled up and was about to get out my car when an employee came out and offered to help me with the service instead. Very nice, polite, and efficient. When she finished, I asked if they had availability for an oil change and they did, were able to get me in right then. It took a little longer than estimated, and before they finished, I asked if about getting a lightbulb changed. They quoted me $151 to change my front left low beam, which I declined. I understand inflation and labor, but I think that is absolutely ridiculous. Typically I am more than capable to do small tasks but my left side under my hood has a vent and filters directly in front of them. I just miss the days of basic services being basic prices, so not bad but not outstanding.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great experience getting my car battery taken care of here! Everyone was so easy to talk to, the price was great, and the service was super fast. Ti, the manager, was able to assist me right away, and Mike was also so nice and took care of my car even though they were already close to closing. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciate how welcoming and helpful the whole team was. Thank you to the entire team for making the experience so easy and stress-free! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service.

Mike, the store manager, is AMAZING! I was headed out of town to haul some stuff on the trailer and had a bad valve stem. When others wanted to charge me to replace… he steeped up and said, I’ll do it for you… just swing by. Talk about customer service and earning my future business! Highly recommend Mavis on Pecan Street!!!!

I came in today to get a tire patched. Mike M. greeted me immediately and got my car in. Unfortunately, there was a nail in an unpatchable spot, so I needed a new tire. He brought me out to see it, and pointed out some wear on the other front tire, but didn’t try to upsell the two or four new tires and additional services that I’ve had happen before. He pointed out that my back tires were basically new and wouldn’t need replacing for a while. I’m always used to getting the hard upsell and being told that there are so many more issues, so it was nice to not feel any of that pressure. He was also very knowledgeable about the company, as I’d never been to Mavis before and didn’t realize they were associated with NYB (which this shop used to be.) The new tire was installed quickly, and at a very fair price. I think start to finish was less than 30 minutes. I’ll definitely go back!

This place has earned my trust for LIFE! This is my second time here and they’re so honest and kind. Two months ago my battery died and the usual places wouldn’t touch my car with a 10ft pole. Thankfully MAVIS was open(it was Sunday) and they fixed me up in under an hour. Today I had to be towed in thinking it was my starter this time. My car is only 6yrs old and Mike the manager believed it had to be something else causing my car to just be dead without any warning. He researched and researched and learned it basically was experiencing the blue screen of death in car form and needed a hard reboot. He showed me how easy it was to do IF it ever happened again and didn’t change me a dime. I’m so so thankful for this amazing company and their team. It’s not easy to trust car places as a woman but they make it easy to feel safe and that I can trust their expertise. I’ll share my experience with everyone!! Thanks so much Mike and team for all you do!! 😊
