  Battery gave out and melted some wiring leaving me stuck at work, but got it towed to Mike’s, and they got it all fixed up by the end of the day about 6 hours later! Always mine & my family’s first choice shop when we need work done

  Had Mike and his crew take a look at my 2021 Toyota Tacoma because the under carriage was making a loud sound. Mike was able to determine some gaskets were loose and tightened them up for a fair price! Friendly staff and informative, will be going back for any of my car needs!

  How careless replacements of brake pads could’ve led to myself or others getting seriously hurt or even killed…. I was recommended by a friend to go here and use this as a mechanic shop. On my second visit I needed to get my rear brake pads replaced. They replace them…..so I thought. As soon as I get in my car and drive away in the lot, I start hearing a rattling noise like something is loose. That noise was not there before I took it to the shop. I turn back around and tell the guy with the colored hair that something sounds weird and it wasn’t there before. He gets in with me and I let him drive. He tells me that it’s my shocks because when they looked at my car they noticed some leakage on my shocks but it wasn’t anything crazy that needed to be repaired immediately. I still thought that was weird because STILL before that moment I hadn’t hear that nose at all. I drive home and I can hear it when I hit small bumps on the road but I thought maybe it would go away. Fast forward to the next day, I still hear the noise. I’m heading downtown on the freeway and the noise starts getting worse like something’s rattling. I’m coming up on a big part of traffic and start to apply my brakes…my brakes weren’t responding and I had to push the brake pedal ALLLL the way to the floor then remembered to pump them if that ever happened 🤷‍♂️. The noise was so much worse now. I drove slow and got off the freeway and checked my wheel….the brake pad had come COMPLETELY OFF! I was PISSED! I called a tow truck to come pick up my car and take me home. Since it was Sunday I had to wait until the next day to get it towed back to the shop. I called Mike and told him exactly what happened. When I got to the shop I was clearly upset and let them know that this could’ve ended differently with me driving on the freeway…I had no brakes for a bit and it was the scariest thing. They agreed to fix the brakes and offered to replace my shocks free of charge but I thought it was just a cover up because if something was actually wrong with my shocks they should’ve said something in the first place, but they did not. I told them I wanted a refund and just to put the brake back on like it’s supposed to. The refund was given but the fact that a repair as simple as a brake pad replacement was done poorly and carelessly is unacceptable.
