I originally left a 5-star review because I was asked to leave a review at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, my experience changed very quickly after that.
I purchased the vehicle on 9/8 around 7 PM. The very next day, before I had even owned the vehicle for 24 hours, the check engine light came on. I contacted the dealership immediately and was initially told it was just a sensor and the vehicle was fine.
I then took the vehicle to the repair shop the dealership recommended, and I was told the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $1,390 for the repair.
I understand that I purchased the vehicle as-is, but having a major issue appear less than 24 hours after purchasing it is extremely disappointing. I also don’t feel my original 5-star rating accurately represents my experience now that I have had the vehicle inspected.
I have contacted the dealership and am currently waiting to see what they are willing to do to help resolve this situation. I will update this review based on how they handle it.
