  I’m just sitting in my truck waiting for an oil change. I arrived at 12:00 pm and I’m still waiting to get service on my vehicle. It’s now 1:50 pm and no service rendered yet 🤦🏽‍♂️. Ain’t nothing quick about this oil change service. You have 4 bays and all the service personnel (young kids) does is walk around like they are all lost. Lack of proper training and no supervision or direction. I done seen 6 cars back up and turn around because the wait time for a quick oil change is at least an 1.5 hours. This is unacceptable! Yes, I will be returning in hoping that the service is quicker because I like the staff and convenience of the location.

  ‼️PSA do not take your vehicle to Valvoline on Faudree ‼️ My mom took her car for a quick oil change and came back home, after a few hours she noticed her car was leaking oil. She called to have it picked up by the tow truck (per valvoline) but it locked up on her unable to be towed. Valvoline workers came out the next day and saw my mom’s car was missing a gasket and used a wrong plug so they had “fixed” what was wrong. After it was “fixed”my parents noticed oil still leaking in the garage. My mom had felt uneasy about the whole situation so she wanted her personal mechanic to take a look but vavoline fought with her for her to take it to their mechanic which had POOR reviews. She won that argument and had it taken to her mechanic but now Valvoline won’t pay for the cost of her mechanic or a rental. My mom has been without car for almost 2 weeks. They have tried to guilt my mom saying “with our mechanic you would’ve had your car back” the same mechanic who has bad reviews. My family and I don’t like outing businesses on platforms like this but we want other people to be aware of this situation.

  I had an issue last week. They accidentally drained the transmission fluid instead of the engine oil, so I had to leave my vehicle there to have it repaired. The very next day, I took another one of my vehicles to the Andrews location. While they were using the oil extractor, the hose got stuck in the dipstick tube, and I had to leave that vehicle there for repairs too. Two different vehicles, two different locations—and both ended up needing repairs because of mistakes during an oil change. Valvoline really needs to improve their procedures because it’s unacceptable for this to happen so frequently.
