  5-Star Service from Jerry, but Avoid the Finance/Sales Manager! I had a great experience working with Jerry Zarate at Bert Ogden Kia Mission. Jerry was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely willing to negotiate and help me get a fair price on the car. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! However, the experience completely fell apart once it reached the sales/finance manager. He was completely unwilling to sell or negotiate—he wouldn't even discount a single dollar. Instead of working with us on the price, he actually tried to mark the price up. It was so absurd and frustrating that I walked away shocked. Jerry deserves 5 stars, but management gets 1 star for driving customers away.

  Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Throughout the process, I felt that the managers and sales associates were more focused on making a sale than helping me find a vehicle that fit my budget and needs. I asked about multiple financing options and more affordable vehicles. When I inquired about a used 2026 Toyota Tacoma priced at approximately $33,000, I was told that my age would prevent me from qualifying. However, I was approved for a used 2024 Ford hybrid priced at approximately $51,000. I found this confusing and frustrating, as I could not understand why I was supposedly unable to qualify for the less expensive vehicle but could qualify for one that cost significantly more. When I decided to cancel the deal, I had to ask more than 10 times before my request was taken seriously. Instead of respecting my decision, the manager told me that I would not get approved anywhere else and would not find a deal that worked for me. This was extremely discouraging and unprofessional. Even after the deal was canceled, I had difficulty getting a cancellation receipt, which only added to my frustration. The following day, I went to Hacienda Ford and drove away with a **brand-new 2026 Ford F-150 with $0 down**. This experience showed me that I had other options and did not need to settle for the deal this dealership was pushing. I am sharing my experience so other customers know the importance of exploring their options and not allowing anyone to pressure them into a purchase they are uncomfortable with. I expected honesty, transparency, and professional customer service, but unfortunately, that was not the experience I received here.

  Terrible service kept my car 24 hours with no update when you call service just sends you to an AI bot that promises to call back but never does and on top of that they return my car with no apology and covered in bird droppings

  I had a great experience purchasing my new car, and I especially want to thank Luis Velasco for making the process so easy and enjoyable. Luis was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire experience. He answered all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable with my purchase. I’m very happy with my new car and truly appreciate Luis’s excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Luis Velasco to anyone looking for a great car buying experience.

  Exceptional Dealership! I bought my Kia EV9 here July 2026. It is now late Sept so I can tell you Service AFTER the sale is outstanding. I have returned to the dealership 6 times since my purchase (for miscellaneous reasons). One of the certified mechanics has always made himself available to answer all my generic questions & even has offered me advice since this is my 1st EV purchase. They have even given me a courtesy carwash 2 1 /2 months after the sale. Gabriel, the floor Mfg., is a gem! He is sincere, kind & actually cares about customers. I would expect that after returning to the dealership 6 times and drinking all their delicious latte coffee I would be viewed as a pest but; he makes me feel very welcome every single time! He also drops whatever he is doing to quickly see if there is anything he can help me with. When I go to Mission Kia dealership everyone there makes me feel as if I am stopping by my primos or Tios house. It is a very warm & inviting place without the drama of actual family life (lol). If you live in Harlingen or even as far as Brownsville the Mission Kia location is worth the drive. (exit 138) Look for a vehicle anywhere you want but BUY from this Mission location.
