  Defeated and devastated. It's been a rough, rough few years. I've been without work for about 8 to 10 months.I stopped counting and my savings is depleted. After countless rejection from interviews and clients leaving because of their struggles...in the first time in many years, I don't know what to do, but still need to survive. I decided to pick up a independent delivery '"gig" because I need a quick money to pay bills and eat but also having college students. I went to Tom Thumb gas to get a quick $15 because only had $46 left and their gas is a little bit higher than I have been going for. I had drunk my 4 bottles of wate. Right next door was McDonald's. So I decided to get a large ice water because my FREON went out on my car and the Texas heat was beating me up. The water was only $0.50 and declined. I'm a Executive Accountant and the math wasn't commuting in my head. I check my bank and Tom thumb put a hold on the whole $46 I had left in the bank... to be released possibly today. Devastated I'll be fined for the packages not delivered and I couldn't complete my route because now I have to decided if I finish the route I can't go to my interview on Monday because I dont when the money will be released. Tom Thumb thanks for making life a little harder than it already was. I know God has me but the process is mentally taxing. Thanks TT!

  Most places put premium 50 cents higher than regular, but this Tom Thumb had premium a dollar higher than regular. Won't do that again.
