  Bought $371.99 top priced Duralast Platinum Elite for 5 years car battery Oct 2025. 7 months later, battery dead. Took it back to Auto Zone to have battery checked. Jesse said it was charged 41% and good to go. That if it happened again, just bring it back and it is under warranty. Told him I don’t want it to happen again! I want a new battery. As he was putting it in, I asked him to run a check on this NEW battery to make sure it was 100%. It was 81%. I told him I paid for a battery at 100% charged, so please go get me one that is 100%. Jesse told me there were no 100% batteries, that Auto Zone’s batteries have shelf life so not 100%. I told him that was not acceptable for what I paid for and he said well, that’s how Auto Zone operates. He said he could take the battery back. I told him I wouldn’t be able to drive then. I took the battery but called corporate and they were very understanding and promised they would give me an upgrade and a 100% charged battery if I brought it back in. Eric, corporate, got in touch with Athe store manager and I now have my problem taken care of with the upgrade and full 100% battery. Anitra a the Gus THOMASSON Rd location, where I bought my battery, was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and kindly accommodating.

  If I can give a 0 stars I would customer service was bad this white tall guy bald was wearing the autozone hat mid 30s I ask for a part which is 29.99 on the autozone site I go ask for the part and he states “Are you going to buy “ rude tone I tell yes I just need to look at it to double check it if it was a 3 pin or 2 he brings it out I look at it and it checks out then before he scans it he states “oh it’s 90 dollars “ Mind you the part is 29.99 in store or online then I tell him and show him the part number ,he makes a face and says “that’s only online” trying to lie upsell thinking I would fall for it usually when parts have a price for online it would say “online only ,online price only” on the website and the guy isn’t new I seen him several times I been a returning customer for years ! After this situation I don’t plan on coming back to this one I will update if I get his name and I went to another autozone that same and got the part for 29.99 and even the autozone worker off Buckner stated “yeah they were trying to get you “ and before I forget to the original rude guy if he made a “mistake” or put the wrong part why did you zoom in and cut the price out out the screen….? Soo yeahhhh very weird

  I pulled up to this location and ask Jesse do they help with lights and he said if it's accessible he can help.. He say let's look at it so I can tell u which one you need. Then he assisted an got the right one for me an placed if n I am so grateful I been having a hassle he is so nice I would come back here anytime
