Easy to book appointment online. Caleb, the technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and took the time and answered all my questions. Payment process was easy and as quoted.

Waited a week for the first available appointment. Rearranged my schedule to ensure I was home for their 5 hour window, just for them to call 1 hour before to say they cannot come out because they were having issues with their calibration machines. Asked if I could come in Tuesday to their location instead. I asked for anything sooner, and was told they MAY have something late Monday but they did not want to keep their techs late. How about ask your techs to come in for OT to fit in your scheduled customers who have made the effort to work around your schedule? I was sent to them once before by my insurance and they did not have the best customer service. Tried to use them again but this must be a sign. Being a business owner myself, I cannot justify using a business that does not take care of their customers, especially because their equipment is having issues.

Still waiting for Safelite to return my Dashcam and re-install it. I was told that the technician could not calibrate the cars safety system after replacing the glass. This was a mobile service call. We were required to bring the car to a Safelite location for the calibration, which we did. However, when my wife picked the car up, she didn’t notice that they did not re-intalled the Dashcam, which had initially had it placed behind the review mirror so it would not be int he drivers field of view. Once I noticed it was missing, I have been calling Safelite’s service line multiple times. However, it just puts you on a long wait and then hangs up the call, or if it does anything, it tells you that your call is after hours. However, it was 4pm in the afternoon CST, which is not after hours. We have texted the initial technician who removed it, however, he has not responded. I am going to drive to the location this afternoon because you can’t call it. All the numbers go to the automated phone system. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Horrible company. Technician came to fix our windshield and damage the hood of our car by jamming it down when the stand was still up. They said they would fix it, we dropped it off at a repair shop and they gave us a rental. The car is still not fixed and now the car rental place says they only paid for a few days and now we have to return it because Safelite is not responding to calls anymore. So now we have to pay for the rental or go without a car. The safelite technician also messed up the trim around the window and its falling off. Absolute headache and pain

I brought my car in for a simple, minor windshield chip repair, and I left with a ruined windshield. During the repair, the technician clearly used too much pressure or failed to follow proper procedures, causing the chip to immediately spread and actually crack across the glass. What’s worse than the mistake was the technician’s attitude. When I pointed out that they had just made the damage significantly worse, the response was a dismissive “it is what it is” and a suggestion that I should just pay for a full replacement now. Complete lack of accountability and professional skill. If you have a small chip you want saved, do not come here—they’ll just break the rest of it and expect you to foot the bill for their incompetence.
