Honestly not very amused with Bert Ogden as a whole right now between the way I was treated at both the Toyota location and Hyundai. I will say before I get into specifics that JD and Niko were absolutely phenomenal with customer service and greatly appreciated for all of their hard work and efforts in assisting me with a difficult application considering my credit and such. HOWEVER Bert Ogden, whoever is in charge of how things run for used cars has me JUST AS PHENOMENALLY LIVID. After wasting two days of time on an application process for 1 car and getting approved, this process has been DISTURBINGLY unorganized. 1). Toyota location wasting my whole morning trying to get me approved for NEW cars within 20-30k which is not what I wanted or asked for AT ALL. 2). Calling the Hyundai location inquiring about a car advertising under false pretenses that the car was on their lot WHEN IT WASN'T creating at least half of the trouble I've experienced... 3). Going back and forth about whether the car was actually available or not taking up the majority of my day. 4). Having to go to MULTIPLE different locations throughout the entire day just find out where the car was ACTUALLY LOCATED because there seems to be a SEVERE lapse in communication amongst locations. 5). Finally finding the car which we drove out an hour to go pick up and test drive which was extremely limited because it was right in the middle of being detailed and the parking lot was small and cramped which I wasn't allowed to leave (understandable) 6). Being told I couldn't actually buy it after we drove all the way out there to pick it up but that i could come back in the morning and that it would be ready because they had JUST STARTED THE DETAILING 7). Bert Ogden having me pay $2000 down before signing the finances in order to "reserve" the car and making me wait ALL DAY (DAY NUMBER 2 OUT OF MY TIME AFTER CHARGING ME) to tell me the deal between BERT OGDEN and the original car owner was never finalized but that they would let me know by the end of the day whether it would be "rolled back or not" and NUMBER 8). THE FINAL KICKER OF MY EXPERIENCE is NOT being called back after calling MULTIPLE TIMES requesting a manager IMMEDIATELY to be rolled to VOICEMAIL and being told they were too busy to get back to me... when they already have my $2000. I am so very insanely livid. EXTREMELY LIVID. This has been.... a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE And I'll now have drive there first thing in the morning because they're avoiding my calls making this DAY 3 of my time to not even end up with a car. This review will be posted in every location I had to travel to JUST TO FIND THE CAR which could not seem to be located from a lack of communication amongst the company.

Yesterday I had an appointment just for an oil change at 2pm, i got there @ 1:40pm, waited there and around 3:pm I went and asked fot the status of my car's service, the guy there without looking at me told me "is going to take another hour or more", I asked him , why? He said cause is just the way it is, he said with a no care attitude so i said then can you cancel my appointment.. he with no care at all just look at one guy that was entering and told him to go get my car., I could tell that guy hates his job just by the way he was acting..he just stood up and left me there with no other word about what was going with my car.. the other guy that went to get my car, A very nice person asked me why I was canceling if the car was already arriba to get its service... so that meant that the first guy did not bother to ck the status he just didn't care..I felt he acted like that with me because I'm an elderly woman and mexican and he is a young white man.. very bad experience I had there.. Poor guy, it appeared he needs a change in his life.

Went in 8/13/26 to buy a used Pathfinder Rock Creek. Several listed on website at what appeared to be fair price + $225 doc fee (Texas "Safe Harbor" cap is $225). Met by salesman, picked one, test drove and was satisfied with it. Told him I wanted to check with Credit Union and Insurance agency and would purchase on Monday. Went in to do paperwork. First tag team manager came out with price breakdown. Immediately noticed they had added 10% to the price to cover an add-on minor damage insurance policy. I said no and the item was immediately removed. Also noticed the doc fee had increased to over $400. Asked about that and was told that was to cover state fees (state fee legal cap is $225 without further explanation). Went along with that. Next tag team manager discussed financing and I told him I wished to deal directly with my officer at CU. He told me he could get rate of 4.99 from my CU. I drove to CU and was informed by my officer the 4.99 had expired on 7/31 and new rate was 5.73. Called Hector at dealership and informed him his rate was wrong and he told me to come back, because he had other lenders offering the lower rate. Went back and salesman asked for my DL for info. He then disappeared into an office with the DL and returned without it (I didn't see any copy machines at the dealer, so apparently they have none). I was then informed by Hector that 5.73 was the best rate (apparently the dealership had not sold a used car in the previous 13 days of the month). Hector asked about trade and I informed him I had been offered $1k for my trade at CarMax and I was going to take that. He said he might do better and asked for keys. Provided him keys, he came back with $950 offer, but no keys (I guess he figured he scored a point by taking $50 off the trade). Waited and waited and waited for keys and DL to return and repeatedly asked for their return, without success. Salesman kept bringing out paperwork, one item at a time, to be signed and each time I would ask for my property back. Finally, tore up the last piece of paperwork and informed I would call police if my personal property was not returned, because they were in violation of unlawful restraint statutes, as I could not leave without the items of my property they were holding (for no good reason) . That finally got their attention, but it still took over ten minutes to return my prop. Left dealer with intention to return Monday for purchase, but was mad about all the lying and deception. Just called back salesman and told him I didn't want to do business with the dealership, because I don't trust them. Can't believe how hard this dealership works to kill a sale.
