  Unfortunately, I was not able to go to my appointment, but we needed an alignment, so my wife took the car in. We've owned it since January of 2025. I am an avid DIY person, but some tasks need to be done at shops. I have done extensive work on this vehicle since we owned it, but was not able to let the diagnostic service techs know. I absolutely hate places that try to upsell items, and from what my wife told me, there was a lot of that going on. Specifically work that I had already performed! I am not sure that this would have happened had I been able to be there, but I was able to work some overtime. All I needed was an alignment, as I had just changed the inner and outer tie rods the weekend before. I also was aware of possible tire issues, which was checked on right after the alignment. As a person who works on all my own cars, I do not need anything extra sold to me. Sorry I wasn't able to be there to ensure this didn't happen. Other than that, the alignment seems to be good...

  It is so refreshing to deal with somebody in the automotive industry that is truly trustworthy. Those guys totally know what they're doing. They're absolutely of unquestionable character, and the overall experience was tremendous. For years, half the time I would just do light mechanical repairs myself because (despite having a lot of other things that I ought to be working on) I didn't feel like I could trust anybody, but these guys have restored that. My daughter's BMW is now all squared away for her to come home from to college, and I could not be more thankful.

  Yeah, I wouldnt trust this place…. Just while I was there waiting… one worker was talking to his boss that the mechanics. Complaining about and saying they arn't going to do something they needed to do on a car… then getting a diesel truck confused with a gas when it needed an oil change… so just right there I was glad they didn’t do my alignment. Because apparently I need other things fixed on my lifted truck, that I just took to an off road performance shop to get my front end re done.

  After getting my tires replaced at Discount tire in Marble Falls they recommended that I take my truck across the street to Brakes plus to have the brakes and alignment checked. I did the Drop Off Service. Around 4PM I called and the tec stated that my truck was ready. I asked how everything looked? He said that my alignment was a little out but everything looked great. I picked the truck up and started driving with confidence that everything was fine. 3 days later I started to notice a bad grinding sound from my front right so I pulled the wheel off to see what was going on.... my brake pads are beyond worn and have started digging into my rotors. Needless to say brakes plus will never get my business again

  Tim and Mike at Brakes Plus really saved the day. I was left in a bad situation after spending the entire day at another shop waiting on a regular alignment. I usually hate to compare or talk bad about businesses publicly because I prefer to address issues directly, but for context, the first shop left me with my wheels dragging sideways and my steering wheel so cocked that I had to turn it twice just to make a sharp turn. I pulled into this Brakes Plus only 15 minutes before they closed. I walked in pretty distraught and stressed out because my car wouldn’t drive right down the highway, and I already felt silly for accepting it from the other shop that way. Tim told me, “Feel free to take a seat and we’ll take care of you. Don’t worry about it.” Mike put it on the alignment machine and showed me the errors. Knowing it was late and they were closing, I asked if I should probably just try to come back tomorrow. Mike said he could align it today, but it was up to Tim to make the call. Tim didn't even hesitate—he said the car was already on the machine and they were going to take care of it for me. They even explained the situation over the phone to my SO and gave me printouts of everything so I could show him exactly what was going on. I know printouts are standard, but their attention to detail and the fact that they never treated me like a burden made it one less thing I had to be stressed about after a long day. When I offered to pay before they shut down their system for the night, they said no—that I’d had enough of a bad day. These guys are genuine, professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. I’m so grateful they helped keep me and my family safe on the road when they could have easily turned me away and I would have completely understood. I highly recommend this location.
