  In the Mansfield, Tx location, Steve was very helpful but the 2 ladies I inquired provided some of the worst customer experience ever. I’m thankful that Steve stepped in to help me because they could not do anything.

  Ask for Jeremy! My mother was stranded at Kroger with a bad battery. Jeremy didn't hesitate to grab everything he needed to come check the battery and try and jump start her vehicle. He was kind and explained everything to her so she could understand. Couldn't thank him enough!

  The gentleman who helped us change our battery was extremely helpful and stayed for quite a while to help us troubleshoot the issue. He went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. If I knew his name I would give him a shout out here. He helped us with a Toyota Rav4 yesterday evening Sep 15, 2026

  Jeremy was so helpful I just stopped in for coolant and ended up having a bigger problem. He went above and beyond trying to help me figure out what to do and let me use his own tools to fix it. So glad I stopped here

  There is no such thing as customer service here at this location. My car battery died while at the grocery store and luckily a lovely couple helped give me a boost. They followed me across the street to auto zone because I had already been in the heat waiting for roadside for 2hrs. Go into the store to purchase my battery and asked that they would help put it on for me. Of course I’m a single mother and have no clue what to do. And the gentleman proceeded to tell me NO. They close in 30min and it’s dark outside and that’s their company policy. So I basically spent over $200 on battery for my car that couldn’t be put on. Had to request a return and of course my car is dead all over again , but luckily the couple stayed and I was able to get another boost to go to the Auto Zone store 4230 and the worker stated they would have never turned me away during business hours and refused to put a battery on my car that takes less than 5 min to do. He said I would want someone to step up and be a man of service to make sure my mom, wife, sister or whoever were taken care to get safely home. Especially when I’m on the clock getting paid to do my job. So I hope this store location in Mansfield learns from store 4230 Adam in Arlington/Mansfield and retrain your workers on what true customer service stands for during store business hours. Regardless if the store was closing in 30min. There isn’t an apology big enough to give this single mother when it comes to the disrespect of that young man you have in your store with 0 empathy and sat with a smile on his face with no care in the world store 05948 And to the colleagues who didn’t step up to the plate and even try to help shows the true character of that store location. Do better and train your workers the definition of customer service. Because my request and need was not an inconvenience and I’m sure this will be swept under the rug and the GM will take no action nor accountability for the issue. This is sad and beyond disappointed. Do BETTER! Or send your worker to train at store 4230 to see and know what customer service and doing your job look like. Not being lazing and trying to close registers early to try to run home and out the door at exactly 9:00pm. If you can’t do your job till the end of business hours get an earlier shift or find another job.
