  I have been an Enterprise Plus Gold member since 2020. I've rented all over Houston and across the country, and my job books my work travel through Enterprise. In 6 years I never had a damage claim, a smoking claim, a late payment, or a single incident. Today Enterprise told me I can never rent from them again. Here's what happened. On September 17 I rented from the Magnolia branch on FM 1488 for a one day trip to New Orleans to visit my cousin in the hospital. Another employee was already helping me when branch manager Alejandro Vega stepped in and took over my reservation. I swiped my card and he walked off without a word. That was normal for him. I'd rented there 3 times and he was rude every single time, rolling his eyes, never saying thank you. I had started waiting for other employees so I wouldn't have to deal with him. I washed the car at Quick Quack on the way back and filled the tank in Conroe before returning it overnight. The next morning I came back for a phone I'd left in the car. Mr. Vega told me the car smelled like smoke and hit me with a $250 cleaning charge, plus a fuel charge for 3 gallons when the tank was 2 bars under full. I have never smoked. I have asthma, and I'm having my tonsils removed next week. I asked him to smell the car with me. There was no odor. I asked what kind of smoke, cigarette, vape, marijuana, and he couldn't answer. I asked another employee to smell it and he told me he didn't smell smoke either, but that Mr. Vega is his boss so he couldn't get involved. When I asked for his manager, he said he was the manager and refused to give me anyone above him. When I said I'd report him, he told me he didn't give a f***, told me not to go into his f***ing store, and threatened repeatedly to call the police on me. All I had done was question a charge. I reported him 15 minutes later. Area manager John O'Connor called me back, cut me off while I was explaining, told me it was 3 against 1, and said he's known these employees for over 5 years and believes them. He never looked at the car, never reviewed anything, and made it clear he was siding with his team before he heard me out. Then it went to corporate, to Risk, to Courtney, to Risk administration. Every person I was sent to came back with the same answer, because it all traces back through the same area management. Nobody ever produced a photo, a cleaning invoice, or any evidence that anyone smoked in that car. And after I filed the complaint, I was put on the Do Not Rent list for a "behavior issue." The only people who could have reported that are the manager I complained about or the area manager who already told me he was taking his side. I reported misconduct and got banned for it. Six years of business, gone, to protect one employee. That's what Enterprise chose here. Not a refund, not a real investigation, just closing ranks.

  I had a wonderful experience at this car rental office! The new manager was exceptional. When I returned my car just before closing, he kindly offered to drive me home in his own vehicle. His willingness to go above and beyond truly impressed me. I’m very grateful for his kindness and excellent customer service. Highly appreciated!

  Terrible customer service experience. The store manager, Vega, was extremely rude and came across with a very dismissive “I don’t care” attitude. His demeanor and the way he communicated with me were completely unprofessional, especially for someone in a management position. Customer service should be a priority, and unfortunately, I did not feel valued or respected as a customer at this location. Based on my experience with the management here, I will not be returning to this Enterprise location, and I would not recommend it to others.

  The team was good and my rental car was clean w low mileage, had bad oil leak which I reported.

  Better trained staff from last year. Better choices of available cars. Needs improvement in providing well cleaned cars.
