  Went for state inspection and oil change. Left and went to dmv to renew registration two weeks later and dmv said that they never sent it into the system after waiting for an hour. Call valvoline and tell them to send in the paperwork for the inspection I paid for. Told they are incapable of sending such confidential info over the phone….. So I have to drive back to valvoline after waiting for an hour. Get there and I’m told they never fully performed the inspection. Staff just glaze over the fact that they literally charged me for a service they didn’t provide. So where does it stop? What service do they pretend to provide and charge you for? No manager acknowledged any wrong doing. Just well shucks looks like the last guy didn’t actually follow through with the inspection. Gee willickers they didn’t finish the inspection last time so we won’t charge you this time! Sorry you wasted two hours out of your day for our mistake! We will make it up to you by not charging you for the service we originally charged you for without actually providing the service. Skip them and literally go to any other place in the area and not get ripped off. Their oil change service is more expensive than most is the real kicker. I only used them for convenience.

  Very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I called ahead and was told I could come anytime before 6:30 PM. When I arrived, they told me the inspector usually left at 5. My husband went back the next day, and the inspector told him he actually stays until 7. I wasted a trip because the staff either gave me false information or simply didn’t know what they were talking about. Terrible communication and a complete waste of my time.

  Continued excellent customer service. Special shout out to Mark for his exceptional, professional, and friendly service! Thank you. Note: Owner REALLY needs to do better job at providing better, larger fans, swamp coolers, or similar to provide better and more acceptable work environment for employees!!! Update: Recently returned to Valvoline for synthetic oil change. Thank you to Cris for her exceptional customer service. Ty was also very friendly and helpful. Very much appreciate it.
