My Safelite experience was awesome! From beginning to end it was simple, smooth & honestly took no time at all. The service itself took no time either, it was great!
The tech who came to my house was an absolute gem! He was very professional & extremely knowledgeable & also very sweet.
I would definitely recommend Safelite any day!

I highly do NOT recommend Safelite Auto Glass in Lewisville. I brought my car here about a year ago for a windshield replacement, and they installed my rearview mirror incorrectly. Fast forward to now my mirror suddenly fell off, so I went back because this should be covered under their warranty. Instead of fixing their own mistake, they claimed there was “damage” to my car with absolutely no proof. They refused to honor their warranty and tried to charge me for a full windshield replacement again another $1000 for something they caused in the first place.
They swear up and down about their warranty to get you to come in, but when it’s time to actually stand behind their work, they do everything they can to avoid responsibility. Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and dishonest practices. Buyers beware. Stay away from this place.

I took my car to Safelite to get the windshield replaced after a rock made a sizeable crack in the glass. Safelite replaced the windshield with a cheap, 3rd party windshield (unbeknownst to me at the time) and sent me on my way. Almost immediately after leaving the shop my windshield camera and the associated safely features stopped working. I took my vehicle back to Safelite and they said the camera would need to be recalibrated. After the recalibration, I left the shop with my vehicle and the same issues with my camera and safely features reoccurred. Again, I took the vehicle back to Safelite and this time they said they would need to order a new OEM windshield from the dealership (because they initially installed a cheaper, 3rd party manufactured windshield) in order to get everything working correctly again.
They did order and install the new OEM windshield on my vehicle and now everything works correctly, but it has been a headache dealing with the multiple shop visits. I reached out to Safelite corporate about all of these issues and I was told someone would be in contact with me.... It's been 2 weeks and no one has followed up with me. If possible, I would avoid Safelite in the future... there are plenty of other companies that do the same work and don't take their customers for granted.

My insurance made the appointment for Mobile service so I would not have to drive with a shattered back windshield. Safelite sent an estimate suggesting I let them change out the wiper blade (for about $38), without ever seeing it. I declined. It turned out that the entire wiper blade motor had to be replaced and they do not do that. They gave me a window of 8-12:00, so I waited all morning. The tech was an hour late. When he arrived, I reminded him that we were ONLY replacing the glass and I would be paying ONLY my deductible of $250. He confirmed that was what he understood too. After about an hour working he said he couldn't do it himself and would have to take my car into the shop. The whole point of using Safelite was so it could be done at my home. When they returned the car, the tech asked for payment and I gave him my credit card. He waved it over his phone and started to leave. I asked if I didn't need to sign it or something, he said no, so I never saw it. I reiterated it was just for $250 correct? He said yes. Shortly after he left I received a text receipt showing they charged my account $287.88. I immediately called them and said they had overcharged me, that I only had to pay my deductible of $250. The girl who answered the phone put me on hold and called someone else. Then came back and said they would check into it and get a refund to me in 7-10 days, if necessary. I said that was not okay. I wanted a credit issued immediately. They said they couldn't, so I placed a dispute with the credit card company until a refund is issued. I do not trust this company. They tried to upsell me and were told multiple times that nothing additional was wanted, and they provided nothing additional but they still charged for it anyway.
