- KMK M6 days ago1.0I called them around 3 pm to see if they had an item in stock. They checked, said they didn’t have it, but they can get it in from another location by 6 pm same day. I was told to come to the store at 6 pm and ask for Grayson. I drove 45 mins in rush hour traffic and got there at 5:50 pm. Apparently, Grayson had already left for the day by then. I spoke with another employee who told me that no one picked up the item I requested and it’s still at their other location. He tells me I can drive to the other location (which is about 30 mins away) or come back tomorrow morning.

- SRSam RApr 21, 20264.0This is the DFW hub store in Lewisville Texas. I drove out here to get some Dorman windshield molding clips since it's a bit faster than my local store. They deliver to the regular stores by noon the next day usually.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
