  The inspection machine didn't work on my truck. Wasted about an hour. Took my truck to a TAKE 5 Place and Passed in 10 minutes.

  Went in for an inspection and they had me in and out of there quickly without feeling like it was rushed. Very polite team and I will definitely be coming back. Was impressed with the Store Managers eagerness to learning Spanish and practicing it to provide better care across more customers. Pricing was also Great!!

  Valvoline Instant Oil Change - 9050 Spencer Highway LaPorte, TX 77571 I've given these guys more chances than they deserved. Strike #1 Overfilled my transmission. Owned up to it and corrected it the following day. So, bad... but at least they did something about it. Strike #2 Claimed to be unable to perform front/rear diff fluid change, in spite of the fact that this location had done it before. Admitted that this may have been due to wrong fluid being utilized on that visit. Then wouldn't accept the coupon I'd been emailed that day for the oil change they did perform. Strike #3 After the last incident, I was prepared never to go back but I got in a pinch. I really needed an oil change and tire rotation done before a trip after I'd put it off for a few hundred miles. So out of pure convenience, I caved an went back. Totally different people working, as it seems to be each time I've been there. This visit, they refused to perform a tire rotation: Claimed no one there could lift tire as heavy as mine. (Stock Toyota 4runner wheels/tires) There were at least four guys working there. Not going back to that location. Moreover, not going back to any Valvoline.

  I had my driver stop at this location for a oil change. My driver is all over the 50 states. They said they would send the service paperwork and receipt to his email address. And they did not send it. I called them to get the receipt and I provided all the vehicle information and they refused to email me the receipt. My driver is a driver not a receptionist. He should not be having to call while on the road. I am stating this is my vehicle registered to my name. All the BS!!

  I had a very concerning experience at Valvoline. I recently went to my trusted people to do my oil change this past Saturday, even though my last service was just 5,000 miles ago. During this visit, I was informed that my oil cap had been left completely loose from the previous service (valvoline Laporte)so loose it could be unscrewed by hand. As a result, my vehicle had no oil, which likely triggered my check engine light and could have caused serious engine damage. That alone is unacceptable and raises major concerns about the quality of work being done. On top of that, I experienced aggressive upselling. I mentioned possibly returning later for windshield wipers, but the employee repeatedly pressured me into purchasing them on the spot. After agreeing, the installation was done incorrectly and resulted in my wipers being bent. I was then told I would need to go to AutoZone to buy additional parts just to get them functioning properly. So not only did I spend over $100–$200 on something I could have handled myself for much less, but I also left with damaged equipment and another problem to fix. This experience showed a lack of care, professionalism, and accountability. Customers trust places like this to perform basic services correctly and not create bigger issues. I strongly urge management to address these problems before more vehicles are put at risk.
